Anne woke up and found her arms wrapped around Cathys body, no space left between their bodies, and their faces only inches apart. Anne stayed for a moment and studied Cathys face. She looked very relaxed when she slept which was a nice change from her usual stressed and rushed expressions. Anne's eyes kept glancing downwards at Cathys lips. Anne couldn't help but notice how perfect the girls fit together, both physically and emotionally. Cathy was the stability that Anne craved in her life and Anne was helping to break Cathy out of her shy, reserved shell. Anne slowly let go of Cathys body and sat up on the mattress. She looked around the room at the other girls. Jane and Catherine were cuddled together, and surprisingly, so were Anna and Kit. Anne had always had her suspicions that they were together but she just shrugged it off.

Anne picked up her phone to check the time. 9:30 holy shit I never sleep this late! Anne thought. Anne's nights were commonly filled with violent nightmares, most of them about her friends leaving her or getting hurt. This was the first night in a while that Anne had slept peacefully. She stood up carefully, not wanting to wake Cathy, and made her way upstairs to the kitchen.

Jane wasn't awake and her parents were out of town, so Anne had no idea what to do with her rumbling stomach. She decided that she would try to make breakfast for herself and the girls, despite her previous incidents in Janes kitchen, which resulted in her 'banishment' as Jane called it. After searching through the kitchen, she found the pancake mix.

"How hard can this be" Anne said as she started to read the directions. She got out the rest of the ingredients, but couldn't seem to find the measuring cups. She started to mix the ingredients together in a big bowl, with no measurements. Janes kitchen counter was not covered in flour, milk, and the bits of egg shell that didn't end up in the batter. Anne made her way over to the stove and turned the heat on.

"See I'm doing great" Anne said to nobody, ignoring the huge mess she had already made. She poured the batter into the pan and waited eagerly, spatula in hand. Anne decided it was time to flip it so she very carefully slid the spatula underneath the already burnt pancake. She tried to flip it quickly but miscalculated. Badly. The pancake went sailing onto the floor, and as Anne desperately tried to catch it, her elbow knocked the giant bowl of batter over. The batter started to spread over the counter and onto the floor. Anne tried to get to the bowl, but her foot slipped on the batter and she ended up sitting in a puddle of her breakfast. Then Anne heard wild laughter coming from behind her.

Anne whipped her head around to see who was there and was met with Cathy, collapsed onto the floor, red from laughter. Anne tried to stand up but kept loosing her footing, sending her back into the batter puddle. Cathy couldn't breathe from how much she was laughing.

"Oi can you help me!" Anne said while trying to escape the batter. Cathy quickly got out her phone and began snapping pictures.

"Jane is gonna kill me" Anne was laughing now too,

"Oh you are so dead" Cathy said as she stood up to help her friend.

"Take you pants off" Anne shot Cathy a surprised look, eyes wide and eyebrows raised.

"Not like that you perv! We've got to wash those." Both of them were blushing gay disasters. Cathy ran to go get Anne another set of pants while Anne started to get the towels out.

The two girls spent the next half hour cleaning up Anne's mess. As Anne was throwing away the last of the batter filled towels, the other four girls came upstairs and into the kitchen.

"How long have you two been up" Jane asked,

"Not long" Anne and Cathy said in unison as they smiled at each other.

"Alright, we were thinking about going out to get breakfast today." Catherine announced,

"That sounds like an amazing idea" Anne said, trying to hold back laughter as she continued to  pull bits of batter from her hair.

Time skip to at the breakfast place

All of the girls piled into a booth together, all smushed very closely. They all ordered their drinks and then Kit stood up.

"Guys.. I..we have something to tell you" she grabbed Anna's hand and pulled her up next to her.

"I- we- um" Kitty looked up to Anna for help. Anna placed her hand on the side of Kittys cheek and brought their faces together, gently pushing their lips together. They pulled apart and looked at the other girls.

"I KNEW IT!" Anne shouted and stood up in the booth

"I think what Anne was trying to say it congratulations!" Cathy said as she pulled Anne back down.

"Thanks Cathy" Kitty said. She shifter her focus at Jane. She had always looked up to Jane, after all she was the oldest and Kit was the youngest in the group.

"I am so happy for you both" Jane said with a huge smile on her face. The couple sat back down hand in hand.

"So how long have you guys been together?" Catherine asked,

"Only a few weeks, and I don't know why we didn't tell you guys earlier. We were just figuring it out I guess" Anna replied.

"Now 4/6 of us are dating!" Kitty said as she looked at Anne and Cathy, both of their faces now turning red. They were practically sitting on top of each other in the booth.

"Bet you 5$ they're dating within the next month" Jane whispered to Catherine.

"Deal" Catherine said as she shook Janes hand under the table.

This was kinda short and bad but also fun to write 🤷🏼‍♀️
