TW: talks abt last chap, panic attack kinda 

Anne twirled a long strand of her chocolate brown hair between her fingers as she stared intensely at the clock mounted in her class room wall. 5...4...3...2...1...

RIIIIIIIIIING

The teacher turned to say bye to the class, but Anne was already running down the hallway to meet Cathy at her locker. They had their first official date today (they decided not to count and fair because a. they weren't together and b. Anne literally got stabbed) after school and Anne couldn't wait. After nearly falling flat out on her stomach Anne made it to Cathys locker and smiled widely when she saw Cathy fixing her lipgloss in her mirror. 

"What flavor you got today?" Anne asked as she approached her girlfriend,

"Strawberry, you wanna try some?" Before Anne could reply Cathy quickly pecked her lips. Anne's face flushed with red as she licked her lips, trying to taste the lipgloss. After all, strawberries were her favorite food. 

"Mmmm that one is very good. Ready to go?" Anne said as she reached out to grab Cathys hand. Cathy slipped her hand into Anne nodded. The two girls proudly walked down the hallway hand in hand, not caring about the looks or the whispers that surrounded them. They were too focused on each other that they couldn't be bothered. 

The girls reached Anne's car, an army green Jeep, and they climbed in, 

"So where are we going?" Cathy asked while fastening her seat belt.

"My sweet that is something for me to know and you to find out" Anne replied as she booped Cathys nose. Cathy scrunched her face which made Anne smile as big as she could. She couldn't believe that someone as beautiful as Cathy would want to be with her. Anne pulled out of her parking spot and the couple was off to their mystery location. 

After driving for an hour, screaming musicals the entire time, Anne told Cathy to cover her eyes because they were finally at their date spot. Anne helped Cathy out of the car and kept her hands over her eyes. 

"Anne where are we?" Cathy was gripping Anne's arm for dear life, hoping she wouldn't trip on anything. 

"Just a few more steps..." Anne replied as they came to a stop and Anne lifted her hands off of Cathys face. 

"Ok, open!" Cathy slowly opened her eyes and a confused look sprung onto her face. 

"Anne. Why are we at your house? We were driving for an hour and you live like 5 mins away from school!"

"I just wanted to spend more time with the most beautiful girl ever," Cathy lightly hit Anne's arm and Anne just smiled and took her hand. She led Cathy to the gate leading to her backyard. Cathy was shocked.

In Anne's backyard there was a huge blanket fort set up, filled with pillows and more stuffed animals than Cathy had ever seen. Cathy shifted her focus to the giant movie screen and projector that laid directly across from the fort. She inhaled and let out a sigh of delight as she smelled the food sitting on the table next to them. 

"Anne.....it absolutely beautiful." Cathy threw her arms around Anne's neck and was met with the familiar feeling of Anne's long arms wrapping themselves a round her torso. Anne picked the smaller girl up and carried her all the way to the fort when she layed her down. Anne ran to grab the food and placed the plates in her lap while turning on the projector. 

"So I hope you like horror because that truly is the only thing that my family will watch" Anne sat down next to Cathy and started to eat. 

"Yeah horror is great!" Cathy moved closer to Anne as they both ate. 

time skip like 45 mins lol

Cathy and Anne had both finished eating and now we're cuddling among the blankets and pillows. Cathy had her head resting on top of Anne's chest and both had their arms wrapped tightly around the other. Their legs were tangled together and Anne was gently scratching Cathys arm. Cathy could hear Anne's heartbeat and her mind wandered to the day of the fair when she was sure that she had witnessed her murder. Anne felt Cathy tense up.

"Babe, is everything ok?" Anne placed a hand under Cathy chin and let their gazes meet. As soon  as Cathy made eye contact with Anne's gorgeous green eyes her own eyes filled with tears. 

"Cathy sweetie what wrong?" Anne sat up, bringing her girlfriend onto her lap, holding her head against her chest. 

"I'm sorry. I was just thinking about last week. Anne I was so scared I was going to loose you," Cathys voice broke when she said the last sentence. Her sobs became more violent, her breathing getting more unsteady. 

"Cathy Im ok, I'm here with you right now. I'm safe and so are you. I've got you just listen to my heartbeat and let's take some deep breaths." Anne helped Cathy take some shaky deep breaths, but she was calming down. Anne ran her hands through Cathys curly hair and kissed the top of her head. 

"Are you feeling better baby?" Cathy shifted in Anne's arms so they were now facing each other. Cathy closed the distance between them and kissed Anne's lips. Cathys arms laid on Anne's waist whiles Anne's tangled into her hair. Their lips fit together perfectly as both girls relaxed into the kiss. 

"I love you Anne" Cathy connected their foreheads and looked into Anne's perfect eyes, 

"I love you. I love you so much Cathy, I'll always be here for you I promise" Cathy smiled and kissed Anne's forehead. 

"i'm sorry for freaking out and ruining the movie" Cathy tried moved her body out of Anne's lap, but Anne's arms kept her in place. 

"Cathy you have nothing to be sorry for. We were in a terrible situation and everybody deals with that trauma in different ways. You never have to apologize to me for feeling emotions. Never, ok?" Cathy into replied and sunk into Anne's hug. The two girls layed down tot finish the movie, i both of them falling asleep before the credits were shown.

also who else is excited to see Millie and Maiya in rent because i'm freaking out
