TW: Henry™️, homophobic slurs, blood (lol don't attack me)

It had been two weeks since Janes sleepover and Anne had returned to school. So far, she hadn't gotten into anymore trouble with Henry. 

"Guys. I heard that the fair was coming to town this weekend!" Kitty exclaimed as she joined the group at their lunch table. 

"We should all go!" Anne said after taking a large handful of chips in her mouth. 

"That sounds like fun! Maybe you guys could stay at my house after?" Everyone agreed with Janes plan as the bell rang. Jane placed a kiss on Catherine's head as she stood to collect everybody's trash. The girls left the table and headed to their respective classes, all excited for the weekend, especially Anne. She was really hoping for some alone time with Cathy. 

At le fair

"Anna! Can we pleeeease go win a stuffed unicorn" Kitty pleaded as she tried to drag her girlfriend over to the games. 

"Only because it will make you happy" Anna ran with Kitty to the colorful assortment of prizes. 

"I think Jane and I are going to head to get food, you guys should check out some of the rides" Catherine nudged Anne and gave her a reassuring look. The couple walked away hand in hand, leaving Cathy and Anne standing alone in the middle of the fair. 

"So do you wanna ride some rides?" Anne asked. She had wished for alone time with Cathy, but hadn't prepared for how awkward it might be. 

"Sure" Cathy took Anne's hand and started to walk to the rides. 

With Katanna

"YESS!" Anna yelled as she hit the last target, Kitty squealing beside her. The man working there handed a huge, pink unicorn to the girls. 

"Oh my god it's so big!" Kitty yelled as she hugged the animal,

"That's what she said.." Anna said quietly, earning an eye roll from Kitty. 

"Thank you Anna" Kitty reached up and pulled Anna in for a kiss. 

"KIT YOU BETTER STOP THAT" Jane yelled from at least 50ft away where her and Catherine were sitting. Kitty took Anna's hand and held the unicorn in the other as the pair walked to another game. 

"I am so happy I'm here with you" Catherine put her hand on top of Janes. Jane put her hand on top of the other two hands and started a fight to see who could have their hand on the top.

"AHHHHH ANNE YOU LIAR!" Cathy screamed as the two spun around and around very quickly. The ride began to slow down, both girls feeling a little nauseous. 

"You said that ride would be fun!" Cathy exclaimed as they exited. 

"Are you kidding? That was so much fun" Anne said, both her and Cathys balance was still thrown off. Anne stumbled, and Cathy reached out her arms to catch her, but also lost her balance. The girls ended up laying on the ground, Cathy hovering over Anne, their faces once again only a few inches apart. 

"Um I- sorry" Cathy got up quickly and helped Anne to her feet. 

"I can't seem to stop falling in front of you," or falling for you.. Anne thought. 

"Are you ok?" Cathy asked

"Yeah I'm fi-" Anne started to say

"Oh I know I was asking the floor" Cathy laughed and Anne playfully hit her arm. 

"Ha ha very funny" Anne replied with a smile. God her smile is so cute, Cathy thought. 

"You wanna go on the Ferris wheel?" Cathy could feel the butterfly's in her stomach. She was going to confess her feelings to Anne. 

"Yeah," Anne didn't tell Cathy, but she had a huge fear of heights, but the Ferris wheel would be a perfect, romantic spot to declare her love. The girls walked over to the ride and got on. The seats were small, so their bodies were smashed together, not that either girl was complaining. They reached the top and the view was incredible. The sun was starting to set over the trees surrounding them. 

"Wow this view is amazing" Cathy looked all around them, admiring the beautiful sky. The ride screeched to a halt, the girls being stuck at the very top. Cathy looked over at Anne who had her eyes glued shut. 

"Anne...?" 

"Yeah yeah I'm good" Anne replied, opening her eyes and flashing Cathy a quick, forced smile. Anne accidentally looked down at how far off the ground they were and started to panic. Her breathing rapidly increased and tears started to form in her eyes. 

"Anne what's wrong?" Cathy warped her arm around the girl and brought her head into her chest.

"I-I don't like heights" Anne admitted as she squeezed her eyes shut again. 

"Then why would you agree to ride the Ferris wheel?" Cathy laughed as Anne sat back up. 

"I just wanted to be with you...." Anne mumbled quietly so that Cathy couldn't hear, 

"What was that?" Cathy asked,

"I just wanted to be with you." Anne said louder. 

Cathy placed a finger under Anne's chin and slowly picked her face up. Cathy could see the tears in Anne's eyes. Cathy glanced at Anne's lips, silently asking for permission. Anne leaned her face closer to Cathy, placing her hand on the writers neck. Their lips almost touched when the ride started to move again, jolting the girls. Their faces forcefully slammed together, leaving Anne with a bloody nose. 

"Oww" Anne exclaimed as she brought her hands up to her bleeding nose. 

"Anne I'm so sorry!" Cathys heart was racing. Did Anne really just kiss her?

"No it's not your fault Cathy" Anne looked up and laughed when she saw Cathy's worried expression. Anne used her finger to wipe a little bit of blood off of Cathys lips. Cathy blushed a deep shade of red. The girls couldn't stop giggling as they exited the ride and headed to the bathroom. They cleaned themselves up and walked back towards the fair. They were holding hands and Anne suddenly stopped. She cupped Cathys cheeks and brought their faces closer. Cathy let her hands sit on Anne's waist as she connected their lips. The kiss was quick, but still full of passion. They pulled away and just stared at each other's eyes. Both girls were smiling like fools.

"You dykes!" Henry ran up and pushed Anne to the ground. Henry grabbed Cathys arm very tightly and she cried out in pain. 

"CATHY!" Anne yelled as she shot up off of the floor and ran to help Cathy. She punched Henry in the jaw and he let go of the small girl, forcing her to the ground. 

"NOOO" Cathy screamed as she saw the sunlight reflect off of Henry's knife as he stabbed Anne's stomach.
