Austin's POV
Alan and I were lounging around the house with no plans in sight, which is nothing suprising. Lounging around our house. I can't get enough of saying that. Anyway, he's currently poking my left cheek and and giggling. I sighed.
"What on earth are you doing?"
"Your cheek jiggles when i poke it." He continued in his fit of giggles.
"Well, I hope it would." I asnwered, hinting sarcasm, "Okay, enough of that." I interjected his finger before it once again made contact with the side of my face.
"Aust, I'm bored." Alan complained from below me. He had his head in my lap, legs sprawled across the length of our four-seater black that sat in the middle of the- what I would say- well decorated living room.
"Hm... what should we do then?" I asked. Alan didn't asnwer, getting distracted by who knows what. He doesn't have the longest attention span, "Let's see what's on tv." I answered myself, reaching over Alan to retreive the remote. Alan grabbed it from my hand, smirking at me.
"Oh really?" I tried grabbing back the remote. Alan sat up, sticking his tongue out at me this time. I tried reaching again, this time he stood up and took a step backwards.
"Seriously?" He nodded.
"Give me back the remote." I demanded. He shook his head and ran off, taking the remote with him. I groaned, taking off after him.
I wandered around the house, searching for the ginger-headed boy I've come to love.
"Alan!" I called, getting nothing in response. I walked down the hall, taking a left at the end into our room, "I've searched every room in the house. You have to be in here."
I heard laughing, but I couldn't place where.
"Ala-"
"Attack!" The next thing I knew, I was on the ground. Alan was sitting on top of me, laughing hysterically. In one swift motion, I flipped us over so I was on top of him.
"Not so funny now, huh?" I said, "Now give me back the remote."
"I-I don't have it."
"You're lying."
"I'm serious, Aust. Also, you're kind of crushing all of my internal organs."
"Oh, sorry." I stood, helping him up, "So if you don't have it, where is it?"
"I never took it."
"That's a bullshit lie."
"I'm serious. Go check in the living room." Alan had a straight face. He has to be lying. I literally saw him run down the hallway with it.
I stared him down, trying for him to 'fess up. He didn't budge.
"Austin Robert Carlile. Do you think I would lie to you?"
"No?"
"Exactly."
I sighed, leaving our room to check in the other room.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I yelled, Alan laughing as he walked down the hallway.
There, right in front of my eyes was the god damn remote.
"I hate you." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"You love me." he leaned up and attempted to peck my nose. He missed.
"You're short." I stated.
"And you're tall. I'm hungry." He whined.
"Well, what would you like?"
"Hmm... Ice cream!" Alan sounded like an overjoyed child.
"Ice cream?" He nodded.

Alan and I ended up at the pier a few minutes away.
"Now what flavor would you like, my love?" I asked. Alan's eyes almost popped out of his head when he glanced up at all the flavor choices.
"Chocolate! No, M&M. Maybe cookie dough. Yeah. Cookie dough!" He finally decided.
"Cup or cone?" I asked. Another hard question for Alan. I left him to ponder the question as I decided on what flavor I wanted.
Once Alan decided (cup with a cone) I ordered and paid for the both of us.
"Thanks, Aust." Alan kissed my cheek, stealing a lick of my ice cream afterwards before running off. I rolled my eyes and chased after him down the end of the pier.
We sat down, legs hanging over the edge of the wooden support.
"You know, I should've gotten what you did." he smirked, gaining a playful shove from me.
"You're lucky you're cute."
Alan's POV
Austin laced our fingers together as we took a leisurely walk down the beach. Leisurely is a stupid word.
"This is a cute little date." I smiled, Austin's matching mine.
"We've never actually been on a prior date, have we?" He asked. I shook my head.
"I think it's long overdue. I'll have to make up for it."
"Aust, you don't have to. I'll love anything, as long as it's with you" I said.
"But I want to spoil you. That's part of the fun of being in a relationship, spoiling the other every once in awhile." He said. Nothing could come out of my mouth other than 'aw' and a fit of extremely girly giggles. I need to man up.
I'm so the girl of this relationship.
Like seriously.
