"Ash. Ashlea!"

I turn away from the window towards Sarah.

"Jeez I've been trying to talk to you for 5 minutes. What are you thinking about?" Sarah asked a little annoyed.

"I'm sorry. I haven't got much sleep last night" I say.

"Why?"

"Because you were laying like a starfish and didn't leave me any room so I slept on the couch which is very small" I say.

"Oop sorry" she chuckles.

The bus stops. We get up and walk out towards our school. Sarah and I walk to our lockers which are very close to each other.

I open mine and put the books I don't need in there.

"You know we should start a new one today" Sarah says leaning against the lockers.

"New one?" I ask.

"Yeah, from our bucketlist"

"Oh. Well which one do you wanna do?"

"I heard they are looking for people to volunteer at the homeless shelter"

"We can do that. Let's skate there after school and ask if we can help" I say closing my locker.

Sarah nods and we say bye before walking to our classes.

I'm laying on my bed waiting for Sarah to come so we can go to the homeless shelter. She said she needed to get to her new house today so she wasn't sure if we could actually go.

I decide to play some fortnite while I wait for her. I start my playstation and wait for the game to get ready. I put my headset on.

"Behind you!" I hear someone scream through my headset but before I can turn around I get killed.

"Jeez you're slow" he laughs.

"I'm not! You just scared me" I say.

"Oh well I'm sorry. Didn't mean to but your still slow" he laughs.

"I can beat your ass for sure" I say confident

"Alright bet"

"Ashlea? I didn't know you played fortnite or like games" he chuckles.

I giggle. "Dude fortnite is the best. That why I'm gonna beat you at it"
