CHAPTER TWELF ✞︎

Third person

Ashlea woke up the next morning from her phone going crazy. She groans turning around to see who is texting her. She immediatly sits up when she sees that Sarah is calling her.

"Shit" she mumbles to herself finding her way to the bathroom. 

Vinnie wakes up because of all the noise seeing Ashlea close the bathroomdoor. He sits up a little grabbing his phone to see what time it is. His eyes widen when there is a knock on the door. His father comes in walking over to the bed. Luckily he doesn't notice Ashlea's shoes standing by the window.

"Vincent I talked about last night with your mother. She thinks a week is to long so we decided you're only grounded for 3 days. That doesn't mean you can do this again. Am I clear?" His dad asks Vinnie who can't keep his eyes off the bathroomdoor hoping Ashlea doesn't walk out.

"Yes yes you're clear" Vinnie says trying to get his dad to leave.

He pushes his dad towards the door telling him he needs to change and wants privacy. His dad leaves the room. Vinnie turns around a sigh leaving his mouth. The bathroomdoor slowly opens and Ashlea pops her head around the corner. Then the door to the room opens again making Ashlea quickly close the door again. 

"Oh also your mom and I are gonna be with your grandparents for the weekend. You and Reggie can stay here if you don't wanna come with" His father says.

"I'm fine" Vinnie says grabbing a sweater from the seat in the corner of the room. 

His dad nods before leaving the room again. Vinnie walks to the bathroomdoor opening it.

"Ashlea?" He wisper making her turn her head around the corner. He chuckles. "You can come out now" 

"Can I borrow your shirt?" Ashlea asks walking out of the bathroom. "There is a hole in mine" She says showing the boy the hole. 

"You can have it. It looks better on you anyways" Vinnie says grabbing some pants walking to the bathroom to quickly change before bringing the girl back to her house.

"Where were you? I called you like a hundred times this morning" Sarah says sitting down at their lunch table.

"I was at Vinnie's" Ashlea says taking a sip of her apple juice. Sarah's mouth drops.

"Did you stay the night?" A smirk grows on her face.

"Yes, I did but nothing happend" Ashlea says making Sarah's smirk fall.

"How is Deveon?" She asks concerned.

"I think you know that better then me" Ashlea says smirking at her now. She looks at me confused. "I heared you two facetimed last night when I was out with Vinnie" Ashlea moves her eyebrows up and down.

"Ew Ash that's your brother we're talking about!" Sarah exclaims.

"So? You totally have a crush on him. And don't come at me with the 'I am gay' thing because you know I'm right" Ashlea says making her friend blush. "You're blushing! Ew Saddie we're talking about my brother here" Ashlea says mimicking her friends words laughing.
