CHAPTER EIGHT ✞︎

Ashlea's pov

"So after school we can go to the appartment and get ready to go to the farm" I say opening my locker.

"Or we can go to my house" Sarah says.

I slam my locker. I look at her.

"Oh wow you're serious" I say.

She nods.

"I would really like you to meet my new parents. They want to meet you to" she smiles proud.

"You told them about me?" I ask.

She nods proud.

"I'll come to your house. Let me go by my appartment to get my stuff okay?" I smile.

"Sure. I'll come with"

After school I get my stuff and put on some old clothes before getting out and skating towards Sarah's house.

It was a decent house. Nothing to fancy. We walk through the frontdoor. A dog comes running towards us.

"Oh Ash this is Marty" Sarah says petting the dog.

"Hi, you're so fluffy" I say petting him.

We put our shoes by the door before walking into the house. We walk into the livingroom. The tv is playing but there is no one in the room.

Then someone walks in.

"Oh hey. I didn't hear you guys come in" the lady smiles.

"Amber this is my best friend Ashlea. Ashlea this is my foster mom Amber" Sarah says proudly.

"It's nice to meet you Ashlea" she smiles shaking my hand.

"It's nice to meet you too" I smile.

"Shane and Loan are upstairs. I'm sure they want to meet you too" Amber smiles.

Sarah nods before grabbing my hand. She runs upstairs pulling me with her.

"Sadie calm down!" I giggle.

She ignores me and knocks on a door.

"Come in!" A voice says from the other side of the door.

Sarah opens the door pulling me in. A boy older then both Sarah and I, is sitting on his bed scrolling through his phone. His laptop is open infront of him. The boy looks up from his phone.

"Oh hey, you should be Ashlea" he says putting his phone to the side.

I nod.

"I'm Loan"

"Nice to meet you" I smile.

"Dude this game sucks ass" a voice comes through the laptop.
