As mentioned yesterday, here's another new chapter!
It's a little short, but I hope you like it anyway! I promise the next one will be more substantial.
Thanks for reading!

Tara and Trubel were following behind Nick as they walked to the precinct's garage. It wasn't long before they reached Hank and Wu, each leaning on their cars with tense expressions. Who was Nick going to drive with? What did that say about the best man competition?
However, their anxiety turned to confusion as they noticed Tara with Nick and Trubel.
"Tara, you've already met Detective Griffin and Sergeant Wu," Nick introduced, gesturing to the men standing by their respective vehicles.
"Hank and Wu work with Nick. We're all friends, " Trubel explained to Tara quickly.
Tara smiled cheerfully and said, "Hi, guys" in a joyful tone that would make anyone's heart melt. Wu and Hank both returned her friendly smile. "So who are we riding with?" she asked everyone, not knowing who would answer.
"Um, I don't have another helmet," Trubel said anxiously, looking at her motorcycle that was parked a few feet away. It wasn't a parking area for the public, but she had been around so often that Renard gave her a spot. After all, the motorcycle didn't take up much space.
Tara's eyes were fixed on the magnificent machine. "That's yours?" she asked, seemingly both shocked and excited. She was walking toward it so quickly that, even in heels, Trubel had to almost jog to catch up to her. She wanted to make sure Tara didn't push any of the buttons; no one needed to get skewered by harpoons today.
"Yeah," Trubel said shyly. Most people who saw the motorcycle felt uneasy and intimidated, including Nick. It was clearly powerful, badass, and expensive.
"How did you get a bike like this?" Tara demanded jealously. Trubel grimaced knowing she would have to lie if she answered the question. Obviously, Tara couldn't know that she used to work for the government as a paid assassin.
"It's a long story," Trubel said dismissively. "We should get going."
The impatience had set in again. Wu was waiting with his arms crossed while Hank was tapping his fingers against the hood of the Charger.
"Would you like to ride with us?" Nick asked Tara as he moved to stand by Hank. Hank winked at Wu who frowned back at him.
"We're good," Trubel answered moodily for Tara. She was still mad at Nick for his pushiness and feared she would have to endure more of it if she and Tara drove with him. "Come on," she told Tara as she led the way to Wu's squad car. Trubel hated riding in marked police cars, but it beat subjecting her sister to Nick's inquisition.
Tara followed Trubel obediently and gracefully slid into the back seat with her instead of taking the open front passenger's seat. Trubel didn't know why, but she was thrilled with her sister's small gesture. She couldn't help smiling at Tara as they drove off to the scene of a double homicide.

Josh Porter was sitting on the couch, looking at the electronic wedding invitation he had received from Nick and Adalind on his phone. He was also twisting a paper invitation around in his hand.
Weird. Two invitations, he thought to himself. The wedding planning must be going as chaotically as he expected. When Grimms were involved, everything would be wild and surprising. At least, that's what experience told him.
