Well, it's the end of the month, and it's Yibo's first race today. I'm here to cheer him up. I'm sitting beside auntie, his mother. We are waiting for the race to start.

My hands are getting sweaty and my heart is pounding. I'm getting nervous, it's his first race after all. I heave a sigh, I know he will win this. I clenched my fist tight, he can do it!

The bleachers are already fully packed, everyone has their own way of supporting the racers they are rooting for. Everyone is anticipating the race.

Finally, it's starting. I sat properly as I see Yibo in his green motorbike suit, sitting on his motorbike with the number eighty-five written on the front. He looks professional in that suit. I'm so teary-eyed right now, he's a grown man now.

I wiped the tear on my left eye and shouted. "Didi! Fighting!" I don't know if he heard me but I saw him look in our direction, despite of his helmet that's covering his face, I can see that he is smiling from his eyes. I smiled wide at him and mouthed 'you can do it', I hope he caught my message.

Just then everyone was lined up, Yibo's team are competing with other universities. I trust Yibo, he practiced hard for this and I know he will win.

Everyone was silent, waiting for the signal. The roaring of the motorcycles is the only sound that invades the whole place.

This is frustrating, I fixed my eyes on Yibo, anticipating the start of the race. I can hear my heart beating fast as I watch every racer affix their gazes on the track. I gulp, I'm too nervous right now.

Just then, I felt auntie pat my back. I looked at her, and she smiled at me, dearly. "It's okay Zhan, Yibo can do it. You're the one that gave him courage right?"

I nodded and gave her a faint smile.

"He can do it, don't worry too much." She smiled again before turning her gaze on the track.

I sighed, 'He can do it' Is what I keep repeating on my mind.

The lights turn red, yellow then green, then the racers accelerated at a high speed. I can't help being tense in these situations. I'm getting really anxious.

Everything went smoothly as I watch Yibo finish his first lap. I wiped my sweat on my forehead as I intently watch him take the lead. But another racer is just a meter away from him and anytime he can outrun Yibo.

My hands are trembling, everything is unsettling. Everyone watched intently, I can see fans of Yibo cheering for him. He's still new but he already got so many fans. I smiled and I shook my head, it's so hard to be so handsome and talented. Always surrounded by ladies.

Now he passed the second lap without a problem. He's really good!

But then the racer that was after him, outrun him in the third lap. Here I am again, getting edgy and anxious. I'm silently praying that he could overtake him. But he's still behind the first racer until the sixth lap, making him still in second place.

But I know he can do it, there are still four laps. He can still overtake.

It seems that the heavens heard my prayers. He was leading again, finishing the seventh and eight laps far ahead than the other racers. I smiled widely! see he can do it. Now only two laps left and he'll win. The crowd was roaring already, his fans are screaming wildly, they know that Yibo's going to win the race.

I held my hands high as the last lap was already approaching.

Just then he finished the last lap. The crowd went wild. Yibo did it!

I screamed with his fans, my heart jumped from happiness. I looked at auntie and smiled wide, she smiled back as we both cheer for his victory.

We immediately went down the bleachers to meet Yibo. He was immediately surrounded by his fans, swarming around him to ask for a picture.

But his eyes affixed on us when he raises his head. He smiled wide, running toward us and ignored the ladies surrounding him.

I gave him a wide smile as he runs to our direction. He hugged his mother upon getting close.

"Congratulations, my son!" She cheered and kissed Yibo on his cheeks.

Then he averted his eyes on me. I was surprised when he crashed on me, hugging me tightly. I patted his back, I can feel his tears streaming down my shoulders. I chuckled, "You're such a cry baby" I teased.

He pulled away and wiped his tears. "Zhan-ge I won." he cried.

I nodded and patted his head, "I know Didi. I never doubted you." I gave him a wide smile.

"It's because of you that I won, Zhan ge" He said, I was taken aback. My heart suddenly leaped for his sudden utterance. I don't know but I feel so happy that my heart wants to go out of my chest. My stomach hurts, something is fluttering inside.

But my happiness crashed when the girl he was talking with last time, approached him.

I suddenly felt a sting, she's smiling so wide at him. Yibo's expression changed, from his smiling face to his poker face. I sneered, I feel so pathetic for the girl. I don't know why but I'm a bit relieved that he doesn't give a genuine smile in anyone but me, my mom, and his parents.

"Congratulations, Yibo," She said in her cheering voice.

Yibo looked at me for a moment, then looked at the girl. "Thank you" he uttered with his indifferent tone and faced me, now ignoring her.

"Let's go, mom, Zhan ge" He uttered and walked pass by us. Me and her mom looked at each other and shrugged. We just followed him and went out of the place.
