Chapter 8: They kissed

I woke up from the alarm ringing. It's already five in the morning, I need to do my routine for today and go to school.

I looked at this kid beside me and smiled. It's usual for him to hug me when he sleeps. When he was still a kid, he would always cling to me when sleeping. Now his a grown man but he still sleeps like the usual him.

I shook my head, I should stop admiring his cuteness and wake him up. I ruffled his hair, "Wake up already, Didi" I greeted and smiled at him.

He just hummed and stretched his body. He's so cute with his bedroom hair.

I chuckled, "You should prepare now, I'm going home to prepare, too. Wait for me at the front gate, okay?" I was about to stand when Yibo grabbed my arm. I looked at him with brows furrowed.

"Why?" I asked. He looked at me with his hooded eyes and let go of my arm. What's with him?

He shook his head and stood up from his bed. "I'll wait for you at gate Zhan ge," He grabbed his towel and went to his bathroom.

"This kid really." I shook my head and smiled. "I'll be going now then, see you!" I shouted from his bedroom and stood.

As I run down the stairs, I smelt a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. Just then I saw auntie preparing for breakfast. She looked at me and smiled, "Good morning Zhan, why don't you eat first before you go home?" She asked.

I hesitated first, it's because auntie's cooking is delish but I can't be late tho. I smiled back at her, "I would like to auntie but I need to rush. Maybe next time?" I snickered. She just gave me a pout.

"Okay, then. How about I put this on a container then you can eat it at school." She smiled again. I smiled at her, how persistent.

I chuckled, "You don't really need to trouble yourself with that auntie." I said.

She clicked her tongue at me, "You know you're like a family to us now. Here, eat this, okay?" She gave me the container full of food she cooked and patted my head.

"Thank you, auntie, I'll be going now then." I waved goodbye to her and went out of their house.

I went to our house and did my routine and left a note to mom and dad since they're not awake yet.

When I'm already out of the house I saw Yibo waiting for me in the gate.

I smiled at him upon getting close, "Did you wait long?" I asked.

He shook his head, "Not really." He said while his hands are on his pockets.

"Oh my, my Didi's so mature now." I teased and ruffled his hair. He's acting so cool, but he doesn't realize how adorable he is when he's trying to impress me with that cool act of him.

He glared at me, "Stop messing my hair like that Zhan ge." He pouted and fixed his hair, "And I'm always mature, you just don't notice." He scoffed.

I chuckled, "Whatever, You're still my baby Didi." I laughed at him then smiled.

He just clicked his tongue at me and rolled his eyes. I just snickered at him all the way to the school.

Well we separated ways, I went to the teacher's faculty and he went on the room for his first class.

I'm his first class tho. I put my things down and get what's necessary.

I decided to prepare my materials in the hall so when the students come in everything will be prepared.

As I get closer to the hall, I hear sounds coming from it. My brows met, Yibo's the only person I know to enter his class this early, since we came to school so early in the morning. I shrugged.

The door of the hall is open, did Yibo left it open?

As I was about to step foot, I heard a girl's voice that stopped me from my track. Huh? Who might it be?

I hid and peeked inside. I saw a familiar face and Yibo facing each other. It was the girl last time, the one who confessed to him in front of the building, and the one who answered my call from Yibo's phone, and the girl who congratulated him in his win, who he ignored and hated.

My heart skipped a beat, What are they doing? Yibo told me he hated her, then why?

I tried to listen intently on their conversation as I glance at them

Then it suddenly hit me, why am I hiding again? It's not like it's my fault for intruding, this is a lecture hall, not a private room. But I can't just walk inside and disturb them, I must hear what's that girl's motive.

"I like you a lot Yibo! Ignore the girl you like already, I'm here in front of you." The girl cried. I rolled my eyes, how pathetic of her.

"Why would I do that? You're not even an inch of the one I like." He said in his indifferent tone. That's it, Didi, destroy her delusions!

"Why can't that be me?!" She shouted, So persistent. If I'm not a teacher, I would just go out of here and slap that delusional girl.

"I don't like you." He simply said. The girl is about to cry. I laughed silently, That's what you get for thinking so highly of yourself.

Just then as I was enjoying the sight of her nearly crying, he grasps Yibo on his nape and their lips is about millimeters close. I gasp in surprise, my knees weaken from the sight. I hid, I don't know what happen next. I can't watch this anymore. I immediately sprint out of the place. I think they heard me, or not? But I just need to get out of that place, my heart is tightening. I don't even know where I'm heading to.

I ran as fast as I could. I don't know what am I feeling anymore. I need to let this out.

Just then I heard Yibo shouted from afar, I don't want to look back. I must keep on running.

"Zhan ge! wait!" he shouted. I didn't stop running until I reached the door out of the building. I looked back and there's no sign of Yibo. I pant heavily, my heart keeps on beating drastically. Now that I've stopped running, my head started to throb. I sighed, I need to visit the infirmary.

So I end up not going to my classes, my head did not stop throbbing and my legs are in pain because of the running. I also don't know how to face Yibo after finding out what I really feel about him and after seeing that thing.

I sighed, I need to rest.

Then, I spend my whole morning at the clinic.
