Well, she's Ava Brown. With her black hair and dull brown eyes, she thinks that she's anything but special. She's got confidence issues. She keeps her head down at all time, either buried inside a book or fiddling with the hem of her t-shirt.
And going to an all werewolf school, when she's just a tiny, weasly, measly human doesn't help either.
So when Aaron Romano, the Lycan Prince and the Alpha of their pack returns from his training abroad, Ava is as nervous as to meet her childhood friend.
Yes. Her childhood friend.
Gone was the little scrawny boy who had adorably cried for her to come with him.
The person who returned, was no longer that scrawny boy who used to play Ava. He is all muscles now. Beautiful scares have marred his body. His voice is as gruff and husky but smooth as ever. He returned as a strong man who doesn't know the meaning of 'no'. His features have enhanced, which even puts a Greek god to shame.
And then there's poor little Ava who was excited to see him again after all these years. Now, she's hiding somewhere in the attic of her house while her parents are worried about what happened to their sweet girl to get this scared.
And when the Alpha hosts a party for the return of his son, Ava will have no choice but to go.
