We arrived at Emerald's house after a short car ride. Emerald's house was big but nothing compared to my old house.

Old house. Yeah, my dad had to sell it to buy fertilizers and pay some of my mother's debt since they wouldn't stop yelling in our neighborhood. They threatened to report to the police if my father wouldn't pay so my father had no choice. Right now, we live with our grandmother.

We park inside her huge garage and see Emerald waiting infront of a closed door. I get out the car as she quickly walks to us.

"I'm so happy that you agreed to come" Emerald said while giving me a hug, I giggle as Annie heads towards us carrying a duffel bag and covered dress over her shoulder.

"Well? Let's get ready ladies!" Annie says while winking at us, Emerald and me giggles.

"Your bag is upstairs, let's get ready!" Emerald says as she grabs my arm and yanks me inside her living room, Annie trailing right behind us.

Emerald's parents were in a business trip in Peru so the house was very empty. Only a few maids were walking about cleaning things or asking if Emerald needed anything. We head upstairs to her big bedroom, Annie shuts the door and I spot my black Nike duffel bag sitting on her bed.

"Now, Show me your dresses ladies" Annie said while letting her bag fall beside Emerald's vanity.

Emerald excitedly goes inside her wardrobe room and bring out a hanger with a black bag hanging from it. She zips the bag down to reveal a beautiful, short, white, tight, and strapless dress that glittered in all its glory. I gawk at the dress as she fully takes it out of its black bag and covered it over her body.

"The party doesn't need a disco ball when you're in the room babe" Annie says as me and Emerald giggles.

"Thank you, show yours!" Emerald says as Annie smirks and holds outs her covered dress. She then opens the bag to pull out a neatly folded silk dress. She then held the dress up and I gasped.

The dress was dark pink and made up of silk. It was a one shoulder dress that stopped up til her knee with a long slit on the side. She put it against her body and gave a 'cringey duck face model look'. Me and Emerald laugh at her face.

"Babe you're gonna get laid" Emerald says as Annie laughs, I slap Emeralds arm as she giggles. They then look at me and I sigh, I didn't really think of what dress I should wear. I sold most of my dresses, jewelry, shoes, and other things so that we could enroll in our school.

I slowly move towards my bag and bring out a crumpled floral Sunday dress. I sheepishly showed it to them as their eyes widened.

"Honey, the theme is disco. Not a christening" Annie says as I try to hold in a laugh. Emerald walks towards me and grabs the dress off my hands. She then looked at me then back at the dress, she then threw the dress at my duffel bag.

"Nope" Emerald says as she grabs my hand and leads me towards her wardrobe

"Emerald, it's ok. I feel comfortable in that dress" I say as she let's go and scavenges her dresses.

"You won't feel comfortable after people start looking at you and drunk bully you" Emerald says, still searching for a dress
