ÍROAS

"Amato Animo Animato Animagus" Hermione and I recited and I felt the faint prick within me. It's exactly a month later since we started the initial ritual to be an Animagus. Professor McGonagall then lifted the sticking charm to the mandrake leaf on our tongue.

"Now, spit the leaf in your phial, go on" we nodded and did exactly what she instructed.

"Very well, then pull a single strand of your hair then add it to the phial. – good! Now, did you do what I instructed you about the Dew to be not seen by sunlight and not be touched?" We diligently nodded.

"Good – add a teaspoon of it to the phial, the chrysalis of a death's head hawk moth. For finality, the potion you did Iro." After we all mixed up the mentioned ingredients, Hermione and I handed the phial to Professor McGonagall. She smiled at us when we gave the small glass container to her.

"I'm going to secure it in a dark and undisturbed place. – Now all you must do is to wait for a lightning storm to drink the potion. While you two are waiting, you must at every sunrise and every sundown without fail, chant the same incantation, with a tip of your wand placed over your heart. Do you understand me?" we both nodded, excited for the storm to come.

"I'll update you later where I will store the potion. If ever I'm gone and a lightning storm happened, you'll know where to find it. – you may leave now, remember what I told you!" Professor McGonagall said. We gave her our last nod and left her office and went to our dormitory.

HARRY

Earlier this morning, Professor McGonagall collected the names of students who are going to spend their Christmas break here in Hogwarts. And me not wanting to employ the leisure time with the Dursleys, immediately listed my name and surprisingly, Iro did as well.

"Hey, why aren't you going home for Christmas break? Won't Mrs. Figg be disappointed?" I asked my sea-green eyed friend who is now standing next to me, after he put his name on the list.

He looked like I caught him off guard as he shivered and exchanged nervous glances with Hermione and seemed to be having an inside conversation. When they notice the suspicious I'm giving, Iro instantly breaks the gaze and fastens his right arm around my shoulder.

"Nothing in particular scar-head, I'm afraid you'll miss me and cry like a baby!" I just rolled my eyes and aggressively removed his arm.

"And don't worry, I mailed my Aunt, she said she has no problem spending my Christmas here." He continued. I just nod at him and glance at Hermione.

"What about you? I thought you're going somewhere with your family?"

"Err...uhm..."

"Harry! If you don't want to spend Christmas with us, you could just say It. No need for questioning us you know." My best-friend said with a serious face which instantly made me feel guilty.

"Kidding!" He shouted at my expression. I threw sharp glares and punched him hardly in his stomach that made him wince in pain but still laughing.

"We talked a while ago and we decided to stay, we need to find information about Nicholas Flamel you know." I just nodded, but I could feel there's another reason. I decided to brush off the thought for a moment and speak,

"But we've looked through hundreds of books and we still couldn't find him. I'm sure I've read the name somewhere else; I just can't remember where."
