He fell down, the sound of his body crashing down onto the cold hard pavement interrupted the deafening silence of the neighborhood. There was a sudden ringing in Eunbi's ears as she watched his body fall down.
"Sunghoon!" She yelled his name, a mixture of fear, shock, and grief plastered on her face. She was on the verge of crying as she scrambled towards him.
She kneeled down on the ground, holding his unconscious figure on her lap as she leaned in closer to see if he was still breathing. Luckily, he was alive although the numerous bruises and cuts told her that he was beaten up badly.
She needed to find out who did it.
If she found out who, it could be one of the clues that could help her prevent his death.
