Season 2 Chapter 2

Taehyung smirked. "Alright shorty, where do you wanna eat?" 

Heat started to spread along my face, I quickly turned around to hide how flustered I was. "How about we go eat at CheongJin." I said as I turned back around. It was quiet for a couple of seconds until Taehyung finally nodded his head in agreement. "Come to think of it, I haven't eaten there in a while." 

Taehyung and I were walking alongside each other on the sidewalk heading to CheongJin restaurant. "Yeah, it's been a while for me too." I replied. "I can't wait to eat their famous pork pieces again!" I said excitedly. Taehyung couldn't help but laugh at me.

Moments later, Taehyung and I were standing in front of CheongJin's. I was about to head inside when Tae grabbed my arm and pulled me over to him. "Before we go in, who is gonna pay?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Tae, do we have to talk about this right now I wanna eat." Taehyung looked down at me. "Okay fine, how about we play rock, paper, scissors really fast? That will determine who will have to play." 

I thought about it for a while, "Okay, there is only one round." Taehyung nodded his head and held out his hand ready to win, so he didn't have to pay. I knew Taehyung always went for scissors, so I always went for rock. 

Both Tae, and Y/N: "Rock, Paper, Scissors, SHOOT! 

Just as I predicted Taehyung went for scissors and I beat him with rock. "Well looks like you have to pay today." I laughed. 

I opened the door and walked inside the restaurant, instantly the cooked smell of meat surrounded me. One of the waitresses seated us at one of the tables in the back of the room. She came back with our drink orders then left to give us some time to look at the menus. "Y/N, what are you gonna get?" Tae suddenly asked me. I moved the menu away from my face. "I think I might get their pork pieces that you can cook yourself." I said as I pointed to the little grill in the middle of the table. 

Taehyung closed the menu "Okay, then I will get those too." He smiled at me. I looked around the restaurant, seeing that the place hasn't changed at all since I've been here. But I also noticed that a couple of girls that were at different tables, were staring at Tae, and it was so obvious. I decided to ignore it and turn back around to face Tae. 

A couple minutes later, the waitress came back ready to take our order. "Y/N, you can go first." I decided to listen to Tae's words and order first. "Um, I would like the pork pieces with the lettuce wraps." The waitress nodded her head then looked to Taehyung to take his order. "Yeah, can I have the pork pieces with the lettuce wraps also, but can I also get an order of kimchi and, I forgot what it's called, but it's green and it's a vegetable." 

I giggled quietly at how Taehyung was trying to describe the vegetable he was talking about, seeing him struggle.. was kinda cute. I noticed how the girl waitress walked behind Taehyung and slowly leaned over his shoulder trying to help point out what Tae was trying to talk about. Again it was obvious another girl was interested in Taehyung, but THIS girl really has the guts to be flirting with him right in front of me. 

I stared at how the waitress kept on trying to make eye contact with Tae, but Taehyung was clearly oblivious to what was going on. Finally Taehyung made eye contact with the girl, and realised the situation he was in, then looked to me. I didn't look at Tae at all but I just kept looking at the waitress. I decided to speak up. "What are you doing?" Startled the waitress looked at me quietly. "Am I mumbling? I asked what were you doing?" I put on my serious face.  "I don't understand what you mean." The waitress tried to act dumb. "You know exactly what I mean, you're flirting with him right in front of me! Now do you understand." I tried to keep my voice down but couldn't help turn a couple heads our way.  

For as long as I known Taehyung, everywhere we went together, there would always be those girls who would flirt with him right in front of me. Sometimes Tae would like the attention he was getting from them, other times he would be totally oblivious and uncomfortable. I would always get angry because they were all over him, and other times.. I would let my jealousy get the best of me and I would end up saying something, like right now in fact. 

"Miss, please calm down.." She said as she noticed people were starting to look this way. "Well, it wouldn't of came to this if you wouldn't of flirted with him in the first place." I was about to say something more, until I felt a warm hand on top of mine. I looked up at Taehyung and saw how worried he looked. "Y/N, don't worry about her, i'm not interested in girls that are desperate for my attention." Taehyung gave me a reassuring smile. "Sigeumchi Namul." The waitress said. "Huh?" Both Taehyung and I said together. "You want the sigeumchi namul right? it's the green vegetable, also known as the cooked spinach." She said. "Yeah! That's what I wanted, thanks!" Taehyung smiled to her. The waitress gave her biggest smile back, but slowly turned her head towards me and noticed the death look I was giving her, then she quickly stopped smiling and left to go let the cooks know what we wanted.  

"Were you jealous?" Tae asked. "Me jealous, yeah right." I said back. "Y/N, you're such a bad lier."

"Okay, so what? Every time we go somewhere together, there is always that one girl who gets all over you, trying to flirt with you, and.. i'm just there having to deal with it." I finally let Taehyung know how I felt. "Y/N, none of those girls are worth my while, the only girl who is worth my time is you." My heart was beating so fast, I thought it was gonna jump out of my chest. Ugh Tae needs to stop being cute all the time! "Also it's so obvious you like me." Taehyung said. "Pabo! What makes you think that!" I gently smacked his hand. "Woah! I was just kidding." He laughed at how red my face was. "This reminds me of the time when we were on the rooftop together then I got close to you and sai-" 

"Okay Taehyung! the foods here!" I was so glad that the food came out just in time before he finished that sentence. Instead of the girl waitress, this time it was a guy waiter. He set the food down on our table and left. I looked at Tae. "I guess she got scared of me." I said with a proud smile. "Well, if I was that waitress I would be scared just by the looks of you." Tae chuckled. "Real funny." I sarcastically laughed. 

We cooked our meat on the grill, and Tae fed me a piece of his pork lettuce wrap with kimchi and spinach that was also in the wrap. "Wow, that's really good." I said. "I know, it's because I wrapped it." Taehyung continued to eat. 

After another hour, Taehyung and I finished our food and he payed for it after. We left the restaurant and decided to go out for ice cream next.  

The walk wasn't far, it was around a 15 minute walk. During the walk,  I thought about how much I loved to be in Taehyung's presence.. I felt safe and at ease.  I wonder if Tae felt the same with me. 

"Y/N." I jumped a little by Taehyung's deep voice and looked up at him. "Make sure you button up your jacket, it's cold out." I instantly stopped in my tracks and quickly buttoned up my jacket. I looked back up at Tae who was staring off into the distance. I walked up to him, and started buttoning up his jacket for him. 

"It's cold out, you should button up your jacket too." I said while making sure the buttons were secured. I was focusing on the last button when I felt a warm hand touch my cheek, then slide through my long black hair. Taehyung pulled my head up to where I was looking at him in the eyes. Something felt different about the way Taehyung was looking at me this time, he always looked at me with gentle, loving, and happy eyes, but all I could see now.. was lust. 

He slid his hand around my waist and the other around my head and drew me close. I could feel Taehyung's breath drawing closer to my lips. Is this it? Am I finally gonna gonna kiss him? I leaned into him and our lips brushed against each other.
