Secret Lover Next Door ~| A Kim Taehyung Romance |~

Season 2, Chapter 3

He slid his hand around my waist and the other around my head and drew me close. I could feel Taehyung's breath drawing closer to my lips. Is this it? Am I finally gonna gonna kiss him? I leaned into him and our lips brushed against each other. 

*Crash* There was a loud bang and a few drunk people stumbled out of the bar Taehyung and I were standing by. I stepped back embarrassed by how close Tae and I were to each other, and Taehyung did the same. 

"WhY DiD yOu GuYs StOp?" One of the drunk men said. " If yOuR iN lOvE, tHeN jUsT kIsS aLrEaDy!" The other drunk person said. I waved my hands in front of me. "No no, it's not what it looks like!" I said. The two drunk men were looking at me like I was stupid then said "Lady, you're a bad lier." Taehyung then spoke up "That's exactly what I said not to long ago, you can easily tell when she is lying!" I looked at Taehyung and gave him my 'are you serious,' face. 

At this point, I was to embarrassed to do anything, and not to mention my face was red as a  tomato. I started walking in the direction to where my apartment was, leaving Tae behind to deal with the drunk people.

After a few minutes of walking I reached my apartment building when I received a call from Taehyung. 

Phone : 📱

Tae: "Y/N, where are you?" 

Y/N: "I'm in front of our apartment building, why?" 

Tae: "Why are you in front of the apartment building? Why did you walk off from me?" 

I didn't want to tell Tae that the fact we almost kissed and I was to embarrassed to face it. 

Y/N: "Um well, I'm not really feeling good, my stomach was starting to hurt, so I decided to head home." 

Tae: "By yourself! Are you serious Y/N, what if something happened to you!" 

Y/N: "Tae, I'm really okay, if your so worried about me, then you better come home."  

Tae: "Okay, I'm on my way home. Make sure you get inside quickly." 

Y/N: "Alright Pabo. Cya when you get home."

I walked up all the stairs that led to my apartment door. I don't know why, but I just didn't feel like taking the elevator up. 

I walked and processed what happened today, and when I mean what happened, then I mean the kiss. Taehyung started the kiss first, so that means he likes me right? He wouldn't of tried to kiss me if he didn't like me. So does that mean that Tae revealed his feelings to me? But he didn't reveal his feelings to me with words, so I can't really know if he does have feelings for me. 

"Ugh this is all so confusing!" I trudged my way up the stairs until I reached my door. I grabbed my keys out of my purse and unlocked the door.  I kicked my shoes off my feet as I shut the door behind me. I made my way over to my bedroom and decided to get into more comfortable clothes. I grabbed my pajamas and pulled them on. "so comfortable." I said, and plopped onto my bed. 

I was too lazy to take off my makeup right away, so I just decided to lay down for a while. I closed my eyes and tried to doze off when I heard a knock on my door. "Ugh" I said as I jumped up from my bed. I shuffled through the apartment and looked through the little peep hole on the front door. It was Taehyung and he was holding a bag. 

"Hi Y/N, can you open the door now?" Tae pouted. I slowly swung open the door revealing a handsome Taehyung. "What do you want?" I asked. "Ow my heart, your so cold to me." He said. "I'm here because I wanted to check up on you, and let you know i'm home, and maybe come in?" I giggled at the way he was acting, he always made me laugh. 

"Okay, come on in, make sure you take your shoes off and put slippers on though." I said holding the door for him to walk in. "Yes ma'am." Tae said as he made his way in my apartment. "By the way, what is that bag you are holding?" 

"Oh this?" He held the bag up to where I could see it more clearly. "Well since we didn't get to get ice cream together, I thought I could bring some to you." Tae smiled at me. "Awe thanks Tae." I smiled back. "Here let me go put this in the freezer for a little while." Taehyung gave me the bag and I walked it over to the fridge and put the bag in the freezer. 

I looked at Tae from across the room as he took his jacket off and hung it up on the coat rack above the shoe bench. I quickly looked away because I didn't want him to catch me staring. The silence was awkward, and I was kind of scared to speak up. The silence broke when Tae said something. "Do you wanna watch a movie?" he asked. A movie wouldn't be so bad I thought. "Sure the movies are in the back room on the shelf." I said walking to the room where the movies were. 

Taehyung slowly followed behind me. I opened the back door revealing a whole bunch of movies on a long and large shelf. "Woah, you have a lot of movies still, I thought you were gonna get a rid of some before you moved." Tae said looking at all the movies. "Well, I was.. but I just didn't have time, besides I like all my movies."

Taehyung ran his hand along all the movies until he picked one up off the shelf. "How about we watch this one?" He held the movie in front of me. "You wanna watch a romance movie?" I said a little confused. "You always like action movies though?" I giggled as he was looking over the front cover of the movie. "Hey don't laugh, I just thought since you really liked romance movies that we could watch one together." 

I looked at the movie more closely and saw that the title read '365 Days' OH NO. "Tae let's watch another movie besides that one." I panicked. "What why?" Taehyung asked me confused. "Please Tae, anything but that one!" I'm guessing Tae saw how panicky I was and set the movie back on the shelf. "Okay, we won't watch that one." Relieved, I relaxed a little. 

Taehyung then again grabbed another movie off the shelf and said "This movie looks good." He handed me the movie and I took it looking at the title '50 Shades of Grey.' Are you kidding me Taehyung! I didn't want to say no again, so I just agreed. "Alright this is good." This time Tae walked out of the room and I was following right behind him. 

I thought about how we almost kissed. I couldn't seem to get it out of my head. But Taehyung was acting really normal about it, almost like nothing happened. I want to ask him about it, but I feel as if it's not the right time. 

I walked over to the T.V holding the movie in my hands. I opened the dvd played and popped the movie out of the case and onto the dvd tray. "Want me to make popcorn?" I turned looked up to find Tae standing above me. "Aish Taehyung you scared me!" I gently slapped him on the shoulder. He laughed and said "The popcorn is in the pantry correct?" he asked. I nodded my head and turned back around to turn the T.V on. 

Taehyung walked over to the pantry and grabbed a bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave. I grabbed the blanket off the couch and watched as Tae was making popcorn. I started blushing at all the thoughts that were running through my head. I thought about how I wanted to hug Tae from behind and shower him with kisses. But then one thought captured my attention really fast. What's gonna happen after the movie? What if Tae tries to kiss me again. What if it goes farther than that! 

I quickly snapped myself out of it and looked at Taehyung once more. I really need to tell him how I feel soon. But I'm still scared that I might lose him as a friend if we date then break up. 

Taehyung finished popping the popcorn and made his way over to the living room couch and plopped down right beside me. "You ready." Tae asked. "Y-yeah." I stuttered. I reached for the remote and pressed play, and then the movie started.
