(Tanjiro's POV)

We finished up and decided to head back to the gym. The entire way back we talked about noting in particular. We let our words get lost in the wind, as if nothing really mattered.

Nothing but having each other, at least.

And man did I wish it was true. Personally, yeah. I loved being around Zenitsu. Hell, I love Zenitsu. But, why the hell would he feel the same? He had nice, blond hair. He had nice eyes. He had beautiful skin. He was perfect. Way too far out of my league.

We made our way back into the gym. "You alright?" Zenitsu asked. "Huh? Oh, uh, yeah. I'm fine." I realized I was staring at him, and started to blush. I just had to hope he couldn't tell.

We walked around for a little until finding a comfortable spot and deciding to talk.

I thought about what happened earlier. When we were dancing. Honestly, I did know it'd make us seem gay for each other. I guess I really didn't think about how Zenitsu would feel when I asked him to dance with me.

"You alright?" Zenitsu asked. I blinked. "Yeah, I'm fine." I smiled at him. He smiled back and I swear to whatever holy being is up there, if there is one, that I could have died right then and there.

If you ever want to know how to kill a gay man, have the person they're crushing on smile at them. It works like a charm.

A/N: I'm sorry, I joked way too much at the end. Also short chapter because why tf not.
Anyways. This book is almost over and I'm sad. I love y'all so much.
