(This probably won't be sad but I tried sksksk skskskks)
It was only an hour after Mondo's execution. Why..? That was Ishimaru's only question. He had plans that day, for him and Mondo to just be happy. But this killing game didn't allow that. Now Mondo and Chihiro were dead, and there was nothing he could do about it. His only wish is that he could've told Mondo his feelings before he died.
✨Flashback✨
Ishimaru wanted to tell Mondo so badly how he liked him. He just didn't know how to say it. After all, Mondo could be straight of just not even like Ishimaru. Still, he felt like this would be the best time. The deaths of Sayaka and Leon traumatized everybody. (Except byakuya because he's a little shit) But for a long time nobody died. For once, it felt like everyone was safe.
That was until they found Chihiro's body. We all wondered who could have done it. Who could do such an awful thing? Just for it to be Mondo. Ishimaru obviously doubted it at first, but Mondo confessed. It felt like all that happiness he had been feeling has gone to waste. What was even the point of being happy, if you were just going to feel despair.
He begged Monokuma, no pleaded Monokuma not to kill Mondo. To take him instead just so Mondo could live. But it didn't matter, Mondo was executed, before Ishimare could even tell Mondo his feelings.
✨End of Flashback✨
Ishimaru didn't care about anything anymore. He just felt like crying. But he had friend for so long that tears stopped coming out, so he just felt sad. "Why...Mondo...why?" That's all Ishimaru could ask to himself. Why his only true friend? Why his crush? Why the only person who ever cared about him, and not for some stupid dare, genuinely caring about him. It's not like anyone cared now. It was obvious that people like Byakuya wouldn't care. But not even Aoi cared, usually she cared about everyone. It truly did feel like he was alone.
Time skip uwu
For the few days Mondo was gone, Ishimaru kept on showing up late, everybody assumed he was going to kill somebody, but he never did. They had all seemed to ignore the fact he was starving himself, and just assumed he was a prime suspect for murder. He decided that he isn't going to just keep on crying. He's gonna end this game, no matter what.
Ishimaru started showing up, just late. The first time he showed up before Mondo's death, everyone gasped. His hair was completely unkept, and it was obvious he was starving himself now. He had cuts on his arms, which he didn't even try to hide, and on his face you could see dried up tears.
Aoi tried to help Ishimaru, so did Yasuhiro and Makoto. For a long time, Ishimaru has just been silent. The times he said things, they sounded awfully cryptic. "When will the time come?"
"It's already too late" Only marking him in more people's mind that he'd be the killer. The next murder happened, the murder of Byakuya. All the fingers were pointed at Ishimaru, why wouldn't they be? Makoto finally said that all the evidence pointed to Ishimaru. Then, everyone casted their votes for Ishimaru. But they were wrong. "What do you mean we were wrong?! Ishimaru why didn't you say anything?!", Aoi asked. So many questions were asked to Ishimaru, why he didn't defend himself, why he just let everyone die and the murderer could live.
"Isn't it fair that everyone dies? We've all done terrible things, even I have. Seems like even through all this you only care about your own lives right? You didn't even know that there wasn't a murderer! Monokuma killed him, because Byakuya slapped Monokuma. Obviously Monokuma didn't say anything. So instead of one person living, we all die.", It didn't make sense to anyone. Why Ishimaru would let everyone die, with a blank expression.
Everybody's execution played out. The last one being Ishimaru's. He had personally request his execution to be first so everybody could cheer when the person who "doomed them all" died first. Of course the cheeky bastard Monokuma didn't let that happen.
In the end the killing game did end. That was what Ishimaru wanted after all. While he didn't expect he'd be able to end it so soon, it was alright. Yes, he did want to "end the killing game", but he never said it'd have a happy ending.
(Ishimaru you little sh-)
