Lily's P.O.V

"C'mon Lily. Come to cheer me on" Juliet begged for the one hundredth time. She wanted me to come watch her try out for the quidditch team.

"I hate quidditch, besides I'd be all alone in the stands" I replied

"If you won't come for me, do it for James" she said

"You're making the chances of me coming less and less" I grumbled

"Pretty please with a cherry on top?" She pleaded

"Fine, only if you get off my back about it" I said

"Yay!" She squealed "I have ten minutes to get down there, lets go" she grabbed my arm and lead me out to the quidditch pitch.

I watched from the top of the stands as fifteen people came out clad in quidditch uniforms. I skimmed over the people until I saw Juliet and she gave me a thumbs up.

"Alright everyone. We already have one of our beaters, Sirius Black. One chaser, me. And our keeper, Justin Grant. So that leaves us spots for one beater, two chasers and a seeker" said James

I recognized Justin Grant. He was the cute one who was taking to Juliet in The Three Broomsticks. He had a twin brother too. I wonder what house his brother was in.

"The people who are trying out for chasers, stand to my left, the people who are trying out for beaters, stand to my right and the people who are trying out for our seeker, stand in front of me" continued James

To James left, stood Marlene, Juliet, and three other boys. To James right, stood Frank Longbottom and four other boys. In front of him stood two boys and three girls, that I didn't know. The chasers were up first. Marlene made eight out of the ten goals required, the three boys trying out each made six, and Juliet made ten out of the ten. She was just being modest that day when she told us she didn't think she was that good, she was amazing! So that automatically made Marlene and Juliet chasers, alongside James. I zoned out for the rest of the tryouts because like I said, I hate quidditch. I was only here because I was forced. I turned my attention back to the field when James started to announce the team.

"So for our beaters, we have Frank and Sirius. For our chasers, we have me, Juliet and Marlene. For our keeper, we have Justin. And for our seeker, we have Travis. Our first practice is Monday morning at five, be there or be square"

I walked down from the stands, glad the tryouts were finally over. I found Juliet and Marlene and congratulated them on making the team.

"I'll see you later okay? I have to meet Remus in the library to work on our History of Magic assignment" I told Juliet.

"Shoot, I still have to find a partner for that. Alright I'll see you later" she replied.

* Juliet's P.O.V *

I walked into the changing rooms, so I could get out of my quidditch gear. I'm ecstatic that I made the team, but this means I'll get less school work done than I already do. Which reminds me I still need a history of magic partner for that essay.

"Hey Marlene, do you have a partner for the history of magic essay?" I asked

"Yeah, I started it a few days ago. You don't have a partner yet?" She asked

"No, are we allowed to work alone?"

"I guess so, but it'll be a ton of work and since you started late you'll most likely never get it done in time for the due date"

I mentally slapped myself. I was too caught up in that stupid book to get any of my school work done. I'll figure it out later.

I got into my dorm and I was out cold as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I was sitting in an unfamiliar living room with two babies sitting on either side of me. One boy and one girl. For some reason, I knew they were mine. I stood up and walked over to the window and I was shocked to see the town I grew up in, in America. I turned my attention back to the giggling babies on the floor. I played with them for a few minutes when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it and two men with masks pushed past me and grabbed my babies. They held their wands up to the babies' heads. 'Pick which child you want to save' they told me. I searched my pockets for my wand only to find I didn't have it. I started to cry because I didn't know what to do. The two men decided to turn their wands on me because of my indecisiveness. 'Avada Kedavra' they shouted at me leaving me dead on the floor. They carried my babies out the door and away with them.

I woke up in a cold sweat. I looked around me and Alice and Marlene were asleep. My alarm clock read 2:57 a.m. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't, so I decided to take a walk to clear my head. I put my bunny slippers on and walked down the stairs into the common room. It was empty except for a third year, who apparently fell asleep while trying to finish his homework. I stepped out of the portrait hole and slowly walked down the corridors, no destination in mind. I was in the potions wing looking out one of the big windows that overlooked the courtyard when someone rested their hand on my shoulder. I wasn't expecting it, so I spun around and did the first thing I could think of. I decked them. I looked at the person I attacked and saw it was Peter.

"Oh god Peter, I'm so sorry! You scared me!" I said to him

"Th-that's alright" he stuttered with blood gushing from his most likely broken nose.

"I would take you to Madam Pomfrey, but it might be hard to explain what we're doing at 3 o'clock in the morning in the corridors. What are you doing out so late anyway?" I asked concern evident in my voice. I reached out and touched his nose to see if it was broken

"Just taking a walk. Um- uh -I'll see you later" he said scrambling away

"At least let me try and fix your nose before you run away" I said

"N-no that's quite alright" he said

"I'll just walk with you and keep you company then" I said

"I don't need company" he snapped. He had a angered look plastered on his face. I'd never seen him act like this before and to be honest, it kind of scared me.

"Fine" I said and he took off down the opposite corridor, leaving me with nose blood all over my fingers. Absolutely disgusting.
