I flopped on the bed with a groan, Shawn and I have been racking our brains for song lyrics and had no progress throughout the hour, Shawn was still sitting on the floor, sticking his tongue out in concentration and writing on a piece of paper in his notebook. my mom came up, wiping her hands with a towel, "Dinner time, kiddos." Shawn and I looked up and saw my mom beaming at us, Shawn and I immediately scooted away from each other, not wanting her to get the wrong idea. Shawn stepped out of my bedroom and when I passed my mom, she whispered, "Lock the door next time." I glared at her and went down the stairs, seeing the table already set. "So," Sinuhe began, "My friend, Shawn's mom, Karen runs an adoption centre and recently has had a new little girl who was brought to the adoption centre because her parents were too young, which is another story, and I have taken up the responsibility to raise her." She said grinning. My mouth fell open and Shawn glanced at me worriedly, "How old?" I asked, "7.", my dad answered. I shrugged and continued eating.

My phone started to ring when Shawn and I went back to my room to work, I picked up and heard Ariana's cheery voice on the other end, I heard some bickering and Tom's voice was also heard after a while, "Camz, guess what?"Ariana screeched, "Don't tell them Ariana Grande-Butera." Tom's muffled cries overlapping Ariana shrieks . "TOM HAS A GIRLFRIEND!"Ariana yelled, I flinched and pulled away the phone. I could hear them fighting over the phone, Shawn and I talked for another 45 minutes and hung up afterwards.

"Tom has...a...girlfriend..."Shawn said, still processing it.
"And she's smart..." I continued
"Isn't that expected? He's in Science Camp after all..."

3 days later
"HELLOOOO WORLD!" I turned around and saw Ariana standing at my front door, "how did you unlock that door?" I asked, horrified. "I picked it." She said, brushing past me. She grabbed the bowl of nachos Selena was holding and devoured every single one of them, she moaned at the flavor, "I haven't tasted real food for ages!", "It's only been 3 days..." Selena said, disappearing into the kitchen to get more. "Aren't you supposed to be training to become some sort of crazy evil genius or something?" Harry questioned. "Oh I was, I got kicked out, I mixed two liquids together and blew up a table." She said shrugging her shoulders like it was perfectly normal. "Where's Tommy?" Shawn asked, "He had to come with me, but his girlfriend tagged along, can you believe it? He got a girlfriend and now he's someone's boyfie!" Shawn scrunched up his nose, " Eww, don't use that word, it sounds gross." Ariana shared her experience with us, and we laughed and talked about it until we all parted ways.
