I was really surprised to see Camila after ten whole years, but I was mostly happy, though she didn't seem the same. "Sh-Shawn, you shouldn't be here." She said, glancing behind me to look at the playhouse, I was really confused and looked behind me to see if there was anything interesting, "Maybe you should just go, I'll give you my phone number, we can talk through the phone." She continued hurriedly, pushing me towards the exit, but I stubbornly planted my feet on the ground. Camila's eyes filled with panic and worry as she kept on looking behind me, frantically shaking her head as she kept on attempting to push me. A little girl ran past me and flung herself into Camila's arms, I stepped back and scanned my eyes through the small child, she couldn't have been more than four years old, had light brown hair and soft brown eyes. My eyes moved from the girl back to Camila, they were complete clones, I realised what had happened, that girl was. Camila's daughter, Camila bent down and said to the girl, "Sé buena chica y ve con papi." I was clueless about what she said but the young girl nodded and ran off to the checkout area. Camila smiles awkwardly at me as her feet shifted back and forth nervously, "Her name's Alona." I nodded, processing all of this, a tall middle-aged man walked towards Camila, one of his arm was carrying Alona and the other was carrying some groceries. "Hey, I'm back— who's that?" He asked curiously observing me, "This is Shawn, my old best friend, Shawn, this is my boyfriend Matthew." She answered, tearing her eyes away from me. "Shawn! I've heard so much about you!" His lips morphed into a smile and said, " I would hug you but my hands are full at the moment." He seemed nice enough, at least he didn't freak out over the fact that his girlfriend had a boy best friend, "Shawn—" another voice piped up, I whipped around and saw Lauren, "What is she doing here?" She glared at Camila jealously, still remembering her rivalry with her back in high school. "This is my girlfriend, Lauren." I said uncomfortably. Camila stared at her in shock and spat,
"I hate you."The end.
Jk, I wanted to leave you hanging so you have to wait now.
