"Goodmorning, Doctor Brew."I stared back at Tres who was now grinning wide. I don't know if she did that on purpose.
There was nothing wrong with it, if it had naturally happened but Tres had been doing that for weeks now.
"Don't annoy Uno, Tres." Rining kong wika ni Doctor Brew. Napabaling ang atensyon ko sa kanya. She was arranging some things on a big table at the midst of two bed.
Doctor Carla Brew was a mother figure for us here, especially those who came from Class A. She was our primary mentor since we were young and was mostly the one to administer our sessions.
Every Class had their own doctors which stand as their guardian, especially in younger years.
I don't have any idea how long she had been working here, but she was still pretty at the age of fourty five. Her long black hair was always ponytailed and that round eyes, though hidden behind those thick glasses were gorgeous.
"What's our session today, Doc?" Tres asked. Her hands were folded on her chest as she waited for response.
Yes, we have a session today, which I can't remember if it was scheduled, but I wonder why she's alone.
"Where is Anna?" Pertaining to her helper. Kadalasan ito ang tumutulong sa kanya rito. Sessions could be dangerous sometimes, especially when it was new. Some of us goes out of control.
"She is not needed here," marahang tugon ng doktora.
"This session is not be told to others, okey? I just want to try something," she said.
That's why her statement made me crease my temple.
"Why?" I asked.
"Child, no questions for now, okey?" It's not that I don't trust her, It was just, it never happened before.
"Would we go on an assignment, inside our mind again?" Tres inquired.
One thing I'm sure of was, this facility had the most advanced technology. At some days, the sessions create scenarios at our mind, different one after another. It all happened inside our thinking with the help of some machines. The pictures were as if real and you could feel true emotions within that man-made illusions . The doctors called it Neuro Enhancement program. It strenghtens our mental and emotional skills.
"I mean I'm okey with anything. Basta 'wag lang 'yong kagaya last time," she added.
Oh, I remembered. She cried a bunch after the test. She kept on blabbering about the child. With her quivering lips I was able to take hold of her story.
She failed saving the village, it all went to dust.
The task was: eliminate the people who had planted bombs all over the small town.
It could have been easier, but a family was held hostage as well. The time was also limited.
I succeeded saving both but she didn't. According to her story, she saved the family first. She couldn't make a choice and at the end still tried to rescue the child. However, the result didn't come out good.
