𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑,

My sister would usurp my role in the alliance by betrothing Princess Mary to her son Ferdinand and Princess Alexandra to her eldest son Charles. Impress upon her the value of my wedding to Prince Harry in strengthening her kingdom now. Have her send my dowry, and we will have a triple wedding.

Your dearest daughter,

Catherine

"Oviedo," Catherine says as she makes her way over to the soldier. The princess, if she is even a princess anymore, has not given up her quest to become queen of England and wife of Prince Harry, "I would like to see the king."

"I have orders not to show you in, my lady," Oviedo replies uncomfortably. He bows slightly to show respect and ease the tension.

"'My lady?'" Lina asks as she stands beside Catherine. She looks surprised and taken aback, "Oviedo, she is 'Highness.'"

"I'll take you," Lord Stafford speaks up as he emerges from the castle. He struts over to the two ladies with a smirk upon his face.

"I know the way, Lord Stafford," Catherine replies stiffly, "I do not need an escort."

"Well, I was your escort when you first came to England, so why break the habit?" Lord Stafford wonders sarcastically. Catherine gives Lina a wary look before walking off, following Lord Stafford into the castle.

She is led into the throne room - expecting to meet the king - but only seeing Lady Margaret instead. Despite her confusion and annoyance, she makes her way into the room, bowing when she stands in front of the noble woman.

"I was told I could see the king," Catherine says, keeping her head high as she wants to look strong.

"The king?" Lady Margaret questions, "Do you suppose he idles here? He has weddings to arrange."

"Then I wish to see Princess Alexandra," Catherine counters.

"Princess Alexandra is no longer here. She's gone to get ready for her wedding to your nephew, Prince Charles," Lady Margaret says with a triumphant look upon her aging features.
