Respect.
Loyalty.
Love.
Compassion.
All of the pertinent building blocks for a relationship. It does not matter whether it's friends or more, but the four are needed for building the structure that stands atop the foundation of friendship.
Yet here he stands, breaking all rules related to our utopia of unity, so why do I come back?
Because I can trust him.
I trust him with my past, present, and future.
No reason why, but I simply do.
He told me about the times he's lied to others even though he said he never would, so why did I expect anything else?
Four years ago I entered highschool only to walk right into a Netflix origional, where Matteas Hunter, the school quarterback caught my eye, and I ended up in bed with him. I know, I know, I am litgerally the dumbest person falling for an idiot like him, and look where that got me: trusting him.
So here he is, sky blue eyes and all. His brown hair is tousled into oceanic waves, with sleek black sunnies sitting atop his head. As he stands at my door, with his arms crossed, revealing the hours he's spent in the gym, peeking through his light white, Old Navy, T-shirt. His basketball shorts lay low on his hips, revealing a line of skin below his T-shirt with his V-line peaking through.
"Hey," he says, with a idontgiveashit look tinting his face.
"Hey," I reply, trying to cut the tension that lines the inside of our throats and spreads through the air.
We may have been together for years, but his troublemaker past has finally caught up with him. So why did I open the door to his smug face?
He does not deserve me, yet his beautifully mature scent lures me in, and his strong teddy bear arms keep me there. I love him and he loves me, but he lies, so I'll keep trusting him.

Just a short piece, that I'll probs come back to and edit. Enjoy!
