~Richie's POV~
Wow. Eddie's new house is pretty great. I don't know all the details of why his Mom decided to move but I'm pretty sure it's because this house is closer to the school. And better yet, it's closer to my house.

~Narrator~
As Eddie invites Richie in, Richie truly sees how big Eddie's new house is. There's an indoor pool, balcony, a massive kitchen and Eddie's Mom gave him the master bedroom to make up for the placebo incident. Eddie takes Richie into the kitchen.
Richie sees that the look on Eddie's face isn't exactly a happy one.
"Hey Eds, is there something wrong?"
"No. I- umm." Eddie says nervously.
"Are you sure? You seem to be nervous or something." Says Richie in a concerned tone.
Eddie looks at him, trying his best to put on a happier face.
"Wait. Are you nervous because this is my first time spending the night at your new house?" Richie says with a chuckle.
"Dude, you don't have to be nervous, I'm your best friend."
Richie smiles and gives Eddie an assuring look, unknowing that Eddie actually doesn't want to be in the situation he's in.

~Eddie's POV~
I think I know why I was blushing. I think I know why I've been getting so attached to Rich. What if...I...like-like Richie? No, I'm just mixing up my emotions. I mean, I AM going through puberty. Does your emotions go wild because of puberty? I don't know but I'm hoping that's what's going on with me.

~Richie's POV~
Why is Eds acting so weird around me? Why is he so nervous? I'm thinking it's because it's my first time in the new house but I'm not so sure. First, the blushing and now the nervousness. I don't wanna believe it but it sounds like the traits of someone that has a crush on you or just a big secret that they're hiding. I'm pretty sure he's not gay, I mean, he's never told me about any crushes. Like, at all. Boys or girls, it's like he doesn't tell me anything in that category. Is he hiding that from me? I always tell him about the girls in the hall he thinks I think are hot. Truth is, I never liked any of those girls. I just wanted to seem like a cool, middle school straight guy. I discovered I was attracted to guys after Henry pinned me to the wall which is kinda strange 'cause he was trying to intimidate me but it was doing the opposite. I hate him, though. He calls me a faggot and a nerd just because of my glasses. At this point, if Eddie's gay, I would be kinda surprised.

~Narrator~
After Richie gives Eddie an assuring look, Eddie decides to take him upstairs and show him his room.
The master bedroom is gorgeous. There's a double door leading to the balcony inside and Eddie has a large king size bed in the middle of the left wall. He also has a master bathroom connected to the room.
Richie looks on in pure shock, seeing how clean and beautiful Eddie's room is.
"Shit, your room is big as hell!" Richie says.
"It's nothing." Eddie says, slightly blushing.
The two walk in and sit on the bed.
"Hey, my Mom got me the new Gameboy that just came out!" Eddie says proudly.
"Damn, how'd you get it so fast? It only came out a few months ago." said Richie.
"My Mom seems to be getting me a lot of stuff lately to mend our relationship but I can't get over all the gazebo stuff."
"Umm Eds, it's placebo." Richie says laughing.
"You know what, fuck off." Eddie says while also laughing.
The boys laugh for about a whole minute then continue.
"Alright let's just play this Gameboy." Eddie finally says.
They play a game of Super Mario Land and then go into Tetris. They spend a few hours playing games until about 3 a.m.
"I'm tired. Ready for bed?" Richie asks.
"Nope, gotta get ready."
"By doing what?!"
"Showering, brushing my teeth, and changing into my night clothes." Eddie says.
"Do you really have to do all that?"
"Yep."
Eddie gets up and goes to the master bathroom, taking a towel with him.
Richie is left awkwardly sitting on the bed not knowing what to do since he didn't really bring any change of clothes, so he'll have to sleep in the clothes he came in. He takes off his shoes, socks and outer shirt that he always wears. He then takes off his glasses and sets them on the bedside table.
About 20-30 minutes pass by and Eddie finally steps out of the bathroom in his pjs. By this point, Richie is already asleep. Eddie gets in bed and makes an effort to turn away from Richie.

~Eddie's POV~
I can't sleep. I can't figure out what's going on with me. I refuse to believe that I'm...I'm...ga- I don't even wanna think about it. I'm not. I know it.

~Narrator~ Eddie took about 35 minutes before he finally fell asleep.
