Long time no see, it's been 3 years since I last wrote Silence in Sagas. Since then A LOT has happened, to me and my writing. The other day, I looked through all my stories and this one caught my eye in a way it hasn't since I lost interest reaching a slump. I'm super excited to figure out how the story unfolds from here.
I apologize in advance for any inconsistencies. I've tried to reas through my old work, but if something seems weird, it may have to do with my loss of memories of details
Anyways, I continue now - Enjoy!

There were wolves that day on the road. They came out of nowhere, and even if Ismina, Alivita and Kavi were good hunters, they weren't prepared to meet creatures that were just as desperate for food as they were.
Ismina woke to the sound of paws and her head shot up, colliding with someone else - Kavi - who lay beside her. Her white sweater still brutally too small and odd looking.
"Kavi, wake up," she hissed, but he did all but stir. The paws continued to step around her tent—there were many of them, circling around. As quietly as she could, she elbowed Kavi in his side, tried to make him wake without upsetting the teethed creatures. They had no doubt smelled their food.
"Kavi," Ismina whispered again. "Wake the fuck up now, something's here."
That got his attention, and he opened one eye wide.Carefully, he sat up and looked down at himself, and Ismina wondered if he was contemplating if his situation of clothing was reason to ignore the wolves.
"We have to do something," Kavi said in a raw voice. Ismina's mind was already spinning with what options she could think of.
A snarl sounded.
"Wolves," Ismina hissed. "We have to warn the others."
She was on her feet in an instant, attempting to walk as quietly as she could out the flap of the tent.
Kavi reached out his hand in caution, and he gave her a knife. "Your aim is better than mine," he said matter-of-factly."They want our food", Ismina said. Her eyes had that lazer-sharp focus only people in real danger got. "The Elk—If we can get away from it, we should be fine."
We.
The thing was, Ismina and Kavi had no problem understanding their own logic—getting away from the danger would only be a matter of timing. But that timing would be considerably more advanced coordinating the whole Order. Especially with the more inexperienced members.
She bit her lip.
Two options materialized inside her mind, and she went with the second best.Kavi stood beside her, not uttering a word and when she turned to look at him, he was looking up with questions in his eyes.
"Do you have any ideas?" she whispered. She doubted it, but it couldn't hurt to check.
He shook his head. That was her que."I'll hunt them down. One by one," she said, and she stepped outside the tent before Kavi could protest.
They weren't as big as she has imagines. They were brown and grey—four of them, that she could see, and they were rummaging around the fire, sniffing the ground and centering around the spots where they had buried the meat from the elk.
"Here!" Ismina shouted. The wolves momentarily turned their tails and heads towards her. Kavi came out of the tent behind her, and Ismina said to him, "go and wake the others."
He obeyed, wide-eyed glances at the wolves who were advancing, two of them a little closer to Ismina then what she would have liked. There was the notion that she didn't know if this was something she would do. Kill wolves, those creatures she valued and looked up to.
