Take Back My Heart

||Chapter 6||

"Eunseo.... I didn't expect to see you here again." He said looking down at me. 

"I-It.... Is you... " I whispered looking up at him.  He helped me up and wiped my tears with my handkerchief.

"Cero... All this time...a-and Luke...?"

"I disguised myself as a Science proffessor. Around people call me Luke,  Alright?" He told me.

I nodded. My head was filled with questions. "What happened... That day?" was the only question I managed to ask him. 

"I woke up the next day. I tried to wake you up but you didn't. Until I heard someone coming towards us..." He trailed off and handed me my handkerchief. The same handkerchief I used to clean his wounds three years ago. 

"It doesn't matter. What are you doing here in New York?" He finally spoke. 

"I came here to finish my studies.  I was sent here to work for Fantasia's main agency." I explained. "So you're one of the teachers that'll attend the seminar?" I asked.

He nodded in response and began walking.  I walked beside him and we continued our conversation. "The bells have already rang and you're still by that corner crying."

"I-It did?  I didn't notice... I only go to school thrice a week..."

"I'll take you to your room. I also trying to find my way around here."

"It's just right around the hall."

He nodded and the rest of the walk was pure silence.

"Shit... This is so awkward... What do I do?"

"He's so casual like nothing ever happened? Isn't he curious where I went after that???"

"Stupid Eunseo!  Why would he care for that?!?"

I stopped by a closed door. 
"This is my home room." I told him. 

"I see." He glanced inside as soon as I opened the door. 

I turned to face him and smiled. 
"Thanks for accompanying me here. I hope you enjoy your stay here." He nodded and left. 

I closed the door behind me and sighed. 

"HOLY CRAP EUNSEO!!!" Lumina screamed startling me. 

"What?!? Oh my fucking Goddesses Lumina!! Pipe down!! You're gonna give me a heart attack!!" I hushed her. 

"You're heart is perfectly fine!  But your brain is not!!!" She exclaimed.

"What the hell do you mean?" I looked at her confused and a little freaked out. 

"He's the one!! The one I told you about!!" She said excitedly.

"You mean Cer-- er-- umm...  Sir Luke?" I almost slipped.  I have to be careful.

"Luke..?  That's his name??" she sighed in adoration. "He's perfect." She said daydreaming.

I laughed. "Weirdo!"

"You're the one to talk!  You knew him! He was right there!!!  You let him slip by!" she suddenly gasped.  "You two are seeing each other! Are you?" she leaned closer to me.

My eyes widened at her sudden question. "What?!  No No No!! We just met each other three years ago." I said leaning backwards, my hands up in defense. I got flustered at the thought. "What? Why am I flustered?!" I asked myself.

Lumina backed off and sighed. 
"Bummer." She pouted. 

"Whatever Lumina. We're just friends or....  Not." I shrugged walking to my seat. 

"What do you mean 'Or not'?" She raised an eyebrow following me. 

"For me we're friends. Not sure about him. He's kinda Cocky if you ask me." I sat down on my chair crossing my legs.

Lumina sat on my desk. "He just escorted you. To. Your. Room.  And you say he's Cocky?" She looked at me in disbelief.

"I knew him before you." I rolled my eyes. 

The day went by normally after.  I wouldn't be here tomorrow so I wouldn't see Cero. I sighed at the thought.

There's just so many things I wanted to ask him. I walked down the halls deep in thought.

"Anastasia." I heard someone call out.  I looked up to see Kazt by the exit with a limousine behind him. 

I waved to him to let him know I see him.  I started walking faster. I suddenly bumped into someone  making my bag fall from my shoulder.

"Watch where you're-" I got cut off when I looked up to see who I bumped into. God no wonder it was strong. 

"What?" He looked down at me sort of glaring. It was Luke. 

His gaze softened when he realized it was me.  "Be careful next time." He told me and continued to walk away. 

"Tch.... And Lumina won't believe me that you're cocky." I muttered under my breath and picked up my bag. 

I continued to walk to Kazt. "Who was that?" He asked.
"One of the teachers staying here for a seminar." I answered going inside the limo.

"What's on my schedule?" I asked as the driver started the engine and drove off.

"You have a photo shoot in Moonstone Café Tomorrow." He informed me. "I think Singer and Model Louis will be there as well."

"Do I get free pretzels??" Moonstone café is my favorite. They sell the best pretzels.

Kazt chuckled. "I'll work on that." He smiled. 

I cheered a little. "You're the best!"

"For now we'll drop you off to rest in your condo unit."

I nodded and looked outside the window watching the sun set over the horizon.
