••Chapter 5••

A honk brought us back into reality as I moved back out of my mates hold,looking to see a small old fashioned bug.The creme paint was faded lightly but without a single dent or scratch was made on it.

"C'mon love"Gabriel held out his hand as I took it,watching our fingers tangle together.His hand was slightly bigger than mine,but it was also smooth yet held a slight roughness to it which was a feeling I wasn't used to.

We walked back down the dock and my silver eyes picked up movement as a figure stepped out of the car

"Paul!"I smiled in recognition of the yellow eyed Pixie,his smile wide.

"Good evening Echo,Mr.Ash"He tilted the hat on his head before tossing a pair of keys to Gabriel who caught them effortlessly.

"Have a lovely evening,I'll see you soon Echo"Paul nodded again,his pale green hair slipping out of his hat just slightly as his wings fluttered,lifting him farther away from us.

"C'mon now Angel"Gabriel mumbled softly,opening the passenger door for me.I mumbled a thank you,blushing when he pecked my cheek as I climbed in.

He jogged around to the other side of the car and climbing in,starting the bug as we drove down the pale sand of the beach.

"I'm sorry for not being there to meet you,I was preparing things for tonight.You look beautiful tonight by the way."He flashed me a dashing smile as my cheeks flushed red,mumbling another thank you.

After awhile of driving we stopped and Gabriel turned to look at me,smiling.

"Do you trust me?"He asked,his blue eyes lit but filled with a slight bit of fear and hope.

"Of course"I answered without hesitation,silver eyes trained on him.

"Good,"He smiled,grabbing my hand in his and kissing the top of it.

"I'm going to need you to close your eyes"I looked at him curiously before closing them as I felt the car beginning to move again,his hand squeezing mine in reassurance.

"We're here now beautiful"I blushed gently as I felt his hand leave mine,a car door slamming afterwards.

"Out you go"Gabriel murmured as he opened the door on my side,grabbing one of my hands.I stepped out of the car and he tugged on one of my hands,my body flush against his.

Lips brushed against mine briefly,sparks dancing between our lips at the gentle touch before he pulled away.

"You can open your eyes now,love"He twirled me back around,my back pressed up against his chest as my eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Oh my sugar plums"I mumbled silently,looking around the beach.

There was a small white tent set up onto the pale sand.Candles scattered among rose petal all around the tent like a gentle barrier.Protecting us from the world and keeping us captive in our own little universe.

A lantern hung down from the many wooden poles that held up the tent,lighting up the inside of it with its gentle glow.

"Do you like it?"Lips brushed against my ear,me shivering just slightly as I stared at the scene in front of me.

"Yes,thank you"I could feel his smirk against my ear as he talked,lips still brushing against my skin while he spoke lowly.

"My pleasure beautiful"My cheeks tinted a bright red as he pressed a gentle kiss to my flaming skin.

His hand moved down my arm till it reached my hand,connecting my fingers with his as he stepped out from behind me and led me to the small tent.

Gabriel stepped into the tent,me following right behind him.

Gabriel stumbled slightly,his foot getting caught on a blanket that laid on the floor.He fell to the ground,his hand pulling me down with him.

I let out a squeak as I landed on top of him,my hands resting on his chest and his moved to wrap around my waist.

"Are you okay?"I asked hurriedly,silver eyes scanning over his body to look for any sort of injury.

"I'm alright darling,no worries.Are you alright?"I nodded,my eyes darting back up to connect with his own.

I suddenly noticed how close we were.His breath fanned out over my lips,my hands pressed against his chest lightly and if I let go,nothing would be keeping us apart.Every part of his body touched mine,blending us together till we made a whole.

His clear blue eyes stared directly at me,a smirk tugging at his pink lips.

He leaned up,bushing his lips against mine just slightly.The smallest touch awakened something in me,a small gasp escaping my lips as my eyes fluttered shut.

I felt his lips move as he talked against my lips.

"As long as you're in my arms,I'll always be okay"

I peeked at him,a blush washing over my cheeks as a small smile tugged at my lips.

"You're so cheesy"I giggled,watching his eyes brighten under the soft glow of the lantern.

"Only for you my angel,only for you"

Long time no see my beautiful angels.I cannot tell you how sorry I am for not updating after this long,I'm a horrible author.Hopefully updates will be coming in quicker,I apologize again.The procrastination is real my loves.But the next few chapters will mostly be the characters meeting their mates,so excited for this.Did I mention how much I love you guys?Well I do,very much so.Thank you for your endless support,love you guys.
