Perri POV

3:30pm

We were sat in the studio taking a break. Me, Ash and Jordan were sat on the bean bags. The girls were sat in front of the mirror making TikToks. Sam, Mitch, Warren and Nathan were just stood scrolling through there phones. "OMG" Sam says loudly grabbing the attention of everyone in the room. "Oh shit" Mitch mumbles placing his hand on his head. "What is it?" Ash asks. "It's Katie she's been attacked" Sam says quickly. My heart stopped. "What?" I question almost like I didn't believe him. "Here" he says passing me the phone which had a news article on. I slowly read it trying to see what had happened.

'Dancer and choreographer Katie Brown rushed to hospital after being stabbed early this morning'

At around 10:30am this morning dancer and choreographer Katie Brown was rushed to hospital after being found by a member of the public. It's said she was attacked and Then stabbed. Helen white who found the 24 year old girl down the ally way whilst out jogging said "when I found her she was barely conscious and it looked like she had lost a significant amount of blood, my friend who I was with called an ambulance and the police where also informed". Police are currently investigating what has happened and at the moment are treating it as an attempted murder. Katie remains in surgery at the hospital with police presence. More to follow as we get new information.

I couldn't believe it. My mind started to go into overdrive. "I need to see her" I say walking towards the door. "I'll come with you" Jordan says following me to the car. I get in the car and pull out of the car park instantly. "What if she was right and her dad did come after her ?" I say "this is my fault isn't it for stopping her from wanting to move ?" I mumble to my self. "You can't blame yourself and secondly you don't know it was her dad, it could just be someone random" Jordan says with a sympathetic look. The whole journey there I was panicking, what if she doesn't make it? I'd be lost with out her. I've had the best time this last month with her, she's made me so happy and I think I made her happy to. She seems a lot happier and I'd like to hope it was because of me.

When I pull up in the car park I rush straight into the reception. "Please I need to see Katie Brown?" I say quickly. "I'm sorry sir no one can see her unless it's family" the receptionist states. "Please She doesn't have any family who she talks to" I state. "What relation are you to the girl?" She asks. "friend" I say. "Give me two minutes" she says as she walks away from the front desk. I stand and wait till she finally comes back. "Would you like to follow me" she gestures to me and Jordan. We follow her down the long corridors to the room. Out side stood two police men guarding the door. The nurse opens the door and enters the room with me, Jordan and a police officer. "Your friends have come to see you" she say as Katie faces the window nodding her head. The nurse and the officer leave the room shutting the door behind them.

I walk over to the chair that faces her, sitting slowly. As I look at her face a single tear falls down her bruised cheek that was a mixture of shades of purple and blue. "Hey" I whisper as she brushes the tear away carefully from her cheek. "How are you?" I ask. "How do you think?" She says sighing. "Sorry that was a stupid question" I mumble as I watch a small smile appear on her face. She try's to sit up slightly but as she does she cry's with pain. "Here" I say helping her gently sit up. "Thank you" she whispers. "Who was it?" I ask "who did this to you?" She takes a deep breath but nothing leaves her mouth. "Was it him?, was it your dad?" I question. She nods her head, looking away from me. "It's going to be okay the police are out looking for him" I say my voice soft as a grab her hand and squees it gently.

After about half an hour of talking Jordan heads home to see his kids leaving just me and Katie. "I'm being moved" she says looking at me. "What do you mean?" I ask my eyebrows raised. "There moving me somewhere else until he is found. If I had somewhere else to stay I could stay but I don't" she says. "Stay with me" I state. "What?" She asks her eyes slightly wide. "Stay at mine and I can look after you" I say. She shakes her head and says "no I'm not dumping my self on you, it wouldn't be fair." "Please, I'll keep you safe" I plead with her. "If you stay with me you'll be around people you know" I say squeezing her hand. She nods her head slowly

"Why did you want to see me tonight?" She asks looking at me. "So obviously you know we've spent a lot of time together this last month and you know how I feel about you" she nods listening to what I was saying. "When I saw you tonight I was going to ask you something." I say taking a deep breath. "I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend." I say quietly. "So, will you?" She nods her head wiping a tear away from her eyes. I lean in and place a kiss on her forehead and hug her gently.
