A fresh start - perri kiely fan fiction

Katie POV
We arrived back at the studio and waited for everyone one else to arrive. Once everyone was here we made our way to Nando's. As we were sat around talking I felt Perri intertwine our hands together under the table squeezing it slightly. I look at him smiling, I was happy to be here with this group of people who I considered family. We were closer than ever. We had always been close but since I moved down to London we had become closer.

"On be half of all the group" Ashley starts "I would just like to welcome you to the the family properly and wish you the happiest of  birthdays" he says directing it to me. I smile thanking him in the process. During the time of eating and drinking many photos and videos we taken capturing the night. I knew these would be things to look back on in the future.

After eating out at Nando's we all slowly made our way back to the studio. Again everyone sat round talking, listening to music and making TikToks. I must admit although I wasn't keen on the idea of celebrating my birthday at first, it wasn't a bad night. I just looked at it more as spending time with my friends.

"This calls for a family photo!" Nathan shouts out catching the attention of everyone in the room. He grabs my arm pulling me towards the middle of the group as everyone else gathered round. He sets the camera up and adds the timer before getting in to position just before the shutter sound clicks off.

It was now getting late on and slowly everyone was becoming tired. We slowly all started heading home. We had decided to stay at mine that night. Everyone made there way to mine. Some slept in the spare rooms and others on the couch's and floor. I think everyone fell asleep pretty much straight away apart from a few.

I climbed into bed carefully pulling the duvet over me. I grabbed my phone and headed to Instagram to post some of the photos from tonight adding a caption of 'My family ❤️. Although I haven't celebrated my birthday in 10 years, tonight was so special thanks to this group of people' I clicked post and turned my phone off. As I roll onto my side I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pull my back into there chest. I smiled before quickly drifting off to sleep.

I woke the next morning and it was still early. Picking up my phone the time read 6:17 am. I pulled my self from perri's grip, got changed and headed down stairs quietly. I grabbed my keys and headed out the door quickly not wanting to wake anyone. I arrived at the shops but they still weren't open yet so i sat in the car scrolling through my phone, when an arrival caught my attention. The head line reading 'Perri Kiely confirms relationship status with girlfriend Katie Brown in Instagram post'

'The star took to Instagram a few days ago sharing a photo of him self and Katie who was leaning on his shoulder with the caption ' My GF ❤️ 'your literally the strongest person I know. You've had so much thrown at you This last month and have only come out even stronger. Your so much stronger than you will ever credit your self for and I'm so proud of you! I can't wait to make so many more memories in our future together. I love you ❤️' last night there was multiple photos posted to most of the accounts of the members of the group of them celebrating Katie's birthday. It's seems that the pair are very happy together. Before Katie knew it 10 minutes had past by and the shop was finally open. She quickly ran in grabbing some bread and milk before heading back to hers. She entered the house quietly and walked into the kitchen putting the bits away she had just bought from the shop.  Slowly but surely people started to wake up. She put the kettle on and started grabbing some cups from the cupboard. Slowly make people cuppers as the woke. The group spent the morning a Katie's before heading the studio the do the latest rehearsal before tour started next week.
