Sorry the last chapter isn't as good as chapter 13. The last chapter had to be done cuz something big happens at the party. It's not in this chapter, sorry about that, but it'll be in chapter 18. The days passed by quick. Lunch went smooth and the classes went fine. Adam is in one of them. Too bad he pays more attention to his friends than me. But... maybe he doesn't see them often? Otherwise I'm just making up excuses. The only thing that disappointed me today was that I never saw Adam in the library. Was does this mean? Lead a girl on, and ignore her for no reason! Sometimes I wondered if Lucy was checking him out. We barely talked these last few days, and Lucy was always jealous of us.

I sighed as I went in the elevator. It was empty. I clicked the button that my dorm was in as someone pushed the doors open. I took it by surprise someone was in here. Most people took the stairs.

It was Adam though, of course.

"Hey," He greets me as we let the doors shut. He stood on the other side of the elevator. My eyes kept turning to him, but I quickly forced myself to look at the buttons. If Adam was going to ignore me, let the games begin!

"Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while," He said, finally speaking again.

Oh, so now he has noticed?

"Oh that's okay," I said trying to go along with it. I was dying for his touch and kisses. It's been two whole days! I was mad at him for not talking to me, but I stayed strong. I didn't know if he was coming back or not, and as you could see, I was worried. But he did come back. Just now!

"I didn't even notice you haven't talked to me in a while," I said, forcing myself to look at my shoes. I couldn't look into Adam's eyes saying that.

"Really?" He asked. He had no idea I was playing hard-to-get the whole time.

"Nope," I said, popping the 'p'.

He nodded akwardly, walking towards me. I looked up, my heart suddenly beating like a nervous wreck.

"Will you do the honors-" He began, looking at me straight in the eyes. 

The honors of what? Marriage? I was just a teenager! I could see it in his eyes that this was a big question. He looked incredibly nervous asking me this, and I was getting nervous too. I could feel my heart beating 200 miles per hour. I finally relaxed when I heard his whole question.

"Will you do the honors of going out on a date with me?"

I sighed with relief. I thought he was going to ask my hand for marriage... or worst, a honeymoon. What could I do? I couldn't see myself getting married!

I was also glad he asked me out. I didn't want another physical relationship like me and John. I mean, look where that turned out... I was just glad he finally asked me out. Now we could really get to know eachother... and how I was from Sacremento...

I smiled. This is what any girl could ask for, a date.

"Sure," I said with a smile on my face.

"Be ready tomorrow afternoon. Wear a swimsuit underneath," He smirked.

"A swimsuit? At night? We're going swimming at seven?"

He laughed.

I frowned. Isn't a date supposed to be at seven? Aren't we supposed to go out on a romantic dinner like in Lady and the Tramp? Where were we going? I don't want to swim tomorrow night!
