chuu had gotten a good nine hours of sleep so far but was awoken by the sound of knocking on her parents' front door.

she inhaled and pushed the covers back off of her, making her way to the front door. she pushed herself to her tip toes to look out through the peep hole, checking who was at the door.

there stood a male, probably late 30s, early 40s, dressed in a mail carrying outfit.

chuu smiled widely and swiftly unlocked the door, pulling it open.

"good afternoon!" she said excitedly as the male placed the papers in her hands.

he smiled and wished her a good day before turning around and walking off to the next house. chuu watched him for a moment.

she then stepped back and closed as well as locked the door.

she went through the letters, grabbing the one that was for her and stuffing it down in her pocket. she then turned and walked off to her parents' bedroom, passing them the mail.

"you sure wake up late. tch." chuu's mother said, a brow quirked.

chuu smiled softly and apologized, walking out of their room and closing the door behind her.

her legs carried her briskly back to her room and as she threw herself upon her bed, she broke into a fit of giggles as she fumbled to open the letter her girlfriend had sent.

when she finally pulled a piece of loose leaf notebook paper out of the cutesy envelope, she immediately got to reading. giggles escaped her lips as she read, and sometimes quiet squeals of happiness.

chuu inhaled sharply, a smile displayed on her face as she read the last of the letter.

it was christmas time, and the loona members were allowed to visit their parents, and most of them did. a few of the girls remained at the dorms, and chuu would make sure to check in with them occasionally.

chuu and her girlfriend, yves, had been writing letters back and forth to one another. they weren't able to meet up much due to homophobic parents, but they called and wrote letters to each other often.

chuu grabbed her phone, going to message yves.
