Miracle's POV:
"I, uh... rather not talk about John" I said, slightly chuckling.
My mother looked at me confused, but she nodded. "Well, I want to say that I'm sorry for everything I have done when we were alive."
She smiled.
Her smile... I can see the regret and pain hiding behind it...
"It's no problem." I said.
She gave me a quick hug and left, almost as if she vanished. I decided to go to bed. I was nervous, yet excited about what tomorrow had in store for me.

"Miss? Miss, please wake up.."
It was a very soft voice. It was cute too, as if it belonged to a kid. My eyes fluttered open. To my surprise, there was a little girl. She was standing in front of my bed. Her face was dirty. Her eyes seemed dull and empty. She had jet-black hair, her hair was short and messy. Her eyes were also black. Her devilish horns and tail were small and cute.
Mine small as well, but longer, and since I was banished from Heaven my halo was deformed and dark.
I sat up. "What are you doing here?" I ask. She looked at me and stared at the floor.
"I-I don't know..." She stuttered.
"Well, where's your mother, little girl?"
She gave me an offended look. "I'm a boy!" She shouted.
I looked at her, or him, shocked.
"I'm so sorry!" I yelled, waving my hands in the air.
"My mother is still alive" She told me. My mouth made an "O" shape and I nodded. "Can you wait outside my room for me while I change?" I ask. He nodded and left the room.
I changed into a black and white over-sized hoodie and some leggings. I tied my hair up into a pony tail and left the room.
As soon as I stepped outside my room, my eyes widened. The boy was being held by a guard the seemed to of passed by while the boy was waiting for me. "W-what are you doing?" I stammered.
"This girl was trespassing on the castle" The guard said.
"I'm a boy!" the little boy yelled.
"What would you like for me to do with him, Princess Miracle?" The guard asked.
"L-let him go, he's with me. And drop the 'Princess'." I said
The guard sighs and let's the boy go. He bows and stands up. He turns and walks away back to his shift.
I look at the boy and bend down to his level. "What's your name?" I ask
His eyes brighten. "I'm Luci!" He shouts.
"Okay, Luci, follow me." I begin walking into the castle and Luci follows closely behind me. I stop at the bathroom. "Okay, take a bath and I'll bring you some clothes." Luci nods as I leave to go find a sweater and shorts for Luci.
Not too long after I come back to the bathroom with Luci's clothes and slowly open the door. Luci was sitting in the bathtub.
"Here are your clothes."
I put his clothes on the sink and exit the bathroom.

Luci walks out of the door. My head immediately turn my head towards him.
"Okay lemme fix your hair" I said as Luci walks towards me. He turns so his back faces me, as I kneel to his level. I didn't do too much, I just smoothed down his hair and used the towel he brought out to dry his hair more.
"Okay, I'm done. Come on, let's go see if breakfast is ready." I said as I began walking towards the kitchen. I suddenly felt Luci tug on my sleeve and I snap my head to see what was wrong.
"Umm, Miss Miracle?" he said, softly.
I hummed in response. He let go of my sleeve and his eyes were glued to the floor.
"Why... um.. why are you being s-so nice to me?" He asks.
I completely face him. "well.." I trail off. "You're a kid without your mother, am I right?"
Luci nods.
"I feel bad. So, since no one is going to take care of you, I am."
I give Luci a warm and soft smile before continuing. "You are a kid, right?"
Luci's eyes brighten up and he hugs me. I hugged him back, then took his hand and began walking towards the kitchen, once again.
As me and Luci were walking in another long hallway, I see Hiro. I stop in my tracks as Hiro give me a confused look, as his eyes dart back and forth between me and Luci.
"Who's this?" He asks, nonchalantly.
"Um.. This is Luci, he's a lost child, so I decided to take care of him." I said, softly
He looks at me blankly for a few moments, then nods. "Okay..." he trails off. "Well, if you're taking care of him, he will sleep in your room and will be your full responsibility."
I hum, signaling that I understood Hiro's conditions. Hiro looks at me, then Luci before walking away. I let out a relieved sigh.
"Who's that?" Luci asks.
I look at him, then look at the floor.
"My fiancee, but we're in an arranged marriage." I said.
"Oh, that sucks." Luci mumbles.
I nod.
"Yeah, it does."
