Chapter 3

We finally reached the store. She stepped in, looking behind her, at me. "Thank you." She says.

I nod my head saying, "It's no problem."

"You have work to go do, so hurry off." She says, walking off.

"Wait? What work?" I ask as I felt a sudden pressure of more hollows appearing. I froze in my tracks. How had she known?

"Bye!" She says, waving at me and disappearing out of my site behind an aisle of food. I turned on my hell, quickly running out of the store heading to Urahara's shop since it was not to far from the store. When I got there, I jumped out of my body and ran towards the new appearance of hollows.

"Ichigo, where have you been?" Rukia yells, flinging her sword at the hollow.

"Helping Hayai get to the store." I say.

"Why?" Rukia asks.

"She asked me to help her get there." I say.

"Well now you have a job to do." Rukia says, defeating a hollow as I attacked one, cutting its mask.

There were 3 left. Renji showed up suddenly, yelling at me. "What the hell? Why did you not help me earlier?!"

"Couldn't." I say, shrugging. "So shut up and let's defeat these."

Hayai's POV

I left the store, bag of food on my arm. I walked to the sight where the hollow was. I looked up to see Ichigo, Rukia, and the red head I saw earlier fighting the hollows. I laughed as I watched them fight.

Ichigo looked frustrated. I laughed lightly at the look on his face. I turned and began to walk back to my apartment to make something to eat. When I got there I felt the strange spiritual pressure. "They are here." I mumble to myself. I know Ichigo is a soul reaper now, so maybe I should ask him for help with this.... But I don't want to drag anyone into my own business. I am the one who ran off.

I sighed as I put my food away and go into soul reaper form. I held a sword that was 2 ½ feet long that swirled. The hand guard on it was shaped like an arrow head. It was wrapped up in a cloth while I carried it on my back. I jumped out my window, hiding my spiritual pressure, heading to where ever these evil doers were at. I quickly ran there. I wanted to kill these people or make them head back before the soul reapers showed up.

They had to deal with the hollows that showed up earlier today anyways. I flash stepped the whole way to where the people were at. I stopped the moment I saw them and approached cautiously.

"Come for another beating?" I ask.

"Of course not. We came to get you." The member says, eyeing me suspiciously.

"Well I have things to do, so let's finish this quickly." I mumble.

"Don't get so cocky girl." The male says, attacking me with his sword. I quickly pulled my sword out, stopping the attack. "You really think I can't take you on?" I ask.

"No, I know you can. That's why I'm not alone this time." He mumbles. I heard a loud roar and quickly ask, "You're not the one releasing hollows, are you?"

"In fact, I am." He says, chuckling evilly.

"Why would you put lives on the line if your just going for me?!" I yell, angry.

"Like I care about that people. I was told to capture you and that is what I will do."

"Whatever." I mumble, glaring at him. "Suffocate Sanketsu." I say as my sword turned into tiny razors in the wind, cutting him up. When I was finished attacking, I resembled my sword and watched him fall to the ground in defeat. "Didn't even give me a fight." I say, bored.
