Hopping out the car, I surveyed the area only to not seeing any fancy mojo shit of a mansion and became befuddled. Instead, there was a path that lead into a forest that looked like any other; rather, it seemed, ordinary.
"Where's the Disney castle I was expecting?" I squinted my eyes and magnified my sight by circling my eyes with my hands acting as binoculars, as if it would help me see any better.
"Is anyone going to tell her?" Lynn asked the rest, sighing.
Leo came close to my ear, "Look up." I did as I was told and gasped.
"IT REALLY IS A DISNEY CASTLE!" I waved my hands in the air cheerfully. It was honestly like seeing a duplicate of what I saw on television, the top at least. Even then, I just sensed that the bottom half would impress me just as much.
"Come on." Leo held out his hand waiting for me to take it, I clutched onto it tightly, feeling the warmth spread through to me instantly. It was nice that we weren't pushing our relationship; taking it slow and steady.
The dirt path we treaded on had small logs engraved into them, going upwards and acting as steps for us. The scenery was just as beautiful as when we were at Leo's territory. I started swinging our joint hands back and forth, rocking it to my own rhythm.
Leo had this frown on his face which I disliked. He would get wrinkles before he reached his 40's. "Stop looking like that."
"Like what?"
"Like that." I gestured to his belligerent face with my free hand.
"And what are you going to do about it?"
"Turn that frown upside down~" I sang, chirping out loud. I heard a light chuckle.

Minutes went by, and finally we could make sight of the fullness of the castle. We took our first step past the border and I felt a new surge of power and authority. It was frightening. Looking over to the others, they deemed to be unaffected by this consuming sense of sovereignty — they were probably used to it.
"Casa dolce casa." I heard Leo mutter under his breath nonchalantly. [Translation: Home sweet home.]
Wonder what that meant.
I wore a white long-sleeve crop top with lace going down the middle of my chest, stopping above my stomach and some denim shorts with white huaraches. My hair was put in a lazy half-up ponytail with my hair flowing freely down to my waist.
I pursued my lips in thought of what elegance and luxury I would see inside the palace. I noticed people staring at us, making me slightly uncomfortable. Hiding behind Leo's back only seemed to attract more attention so I moved over behind Luca.
All the pairs of eyes that were gawping at us had my nerves running on high. I'm not sure what comfort I found in rubbing my wrists but it helped.
I had just imagined a recent ad I had watched of minions blabbering shit I didn't understand so I wouldn't have to deal with the eyeballing from these strangers.
At long last, we had made it to the entrance of the palace, it was like Leo's place but 10x better and larger. Made me feel like some broke bitch that got picked up off the streets out of pity.
Don't worry, you're not homeless anymore.
That doesn't make me feel any better.
"Hurry up you wench." Alex barked, annoyed at my pace.
"Alright dickface, keep your hair on. Before I make you bald myself." I whispered the last bit to myself. The violent things I want to do this man. The list was never-ending and we had met not too long ago.
What is his problem with us anyway?

"Welcome to Hogwarts." Luca announced gaining a glare from Leo.
"He means the House of Genovese." Dana corrected him.
Fancy shmancy.
I wish papa could see where we are right now.
Most of the floors were tile, curved stairs, glass, a lot of glass, and there was a lot of modern decoration brightening up the place.
This place was not baby-proof whatsoever.
An old man, who looked to be in his 60's, walked up to us, "Her Highness says to meet for dinner at 2100. You are free to explore until then, sir." After he notified us off the Queen's message, he bowed and strolled off in a different direction.
"That's Albert, he's been serving us for most of his life and is trusted dearly." I nodded in understanding and gave a small smile at his fading figure.
"Nardie? Is that you?" A small girl ran up to us gleefully with a huge grin on her face giving Leo a tight hug to his knees.
"Aria?" He bent down to her level. "How have you been?" He asked holding her petite hands.
"Yes Nardie! I even got a new shopkin to add to my collection!" She beamed showing her toothy smile.
"You're such a good girl." He ruffled her hair chuckling. Their relationship was adorable. It made me want to "🥺".
"Come! Teo is in the gym!" She said bouncing up and down. For a small girl she had a lot of energy.

So long story short as to why I haven't been updating is bc I did some pretty bad shit and got all my devices confiscated from me for 2 and a half weeks.
I'll keep you guys thinking as to what I did.
