IU's POV
"Noona, did you take your vitamins already?" He went out of the room with his messy hair.
I nodded at him.
He's been like this ever since this afternoon. Casually taking care of me and asking me questions. After that, he'll just go silent. Is he still mad about what happened yesterday?
I was actually surprised how he naturally said that without hesitations. I can see the determination in his voice that time.
Slowly sneaking in the kitchen, I saw him open the fridge and started preparing the ingredients for our dinner. He's so focused that he didn't even noticed that I was already behind him.
I felt him flinched when I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Kookie-ah. Are you mad at me? Hmm?"
He slowly walked to the sink to wash the potatoes, careful with his movements as I was still hugging him. "Huh?" He kept his facial expressions straight but I can sense a hint of sullenness in his voice.
"Because of what I said yesterday---"
He cut me off. "Take your time, noona. I'm sorry for rushing you. I know it's too early for that. I'm sorry."
I frowned at his reply. Is he now regretting asking me that question?
"You're mad." I pouted, releasing my grip from him.
"Why would I be mad at my baby?" He faced me and pulled me for a hug.
"You keep on ignoring me ever since this morning."
He sighed. "I was just sulking. Don't mind me. I just thought you'd---"
"Of course my answer will always be yes, you silly."
I looked up at him when he didn't moved for seconds. I thought he already froze. He just stared at me, continuously blinking his eyes.
I tiptoed to kiss him on the lips. "Hey. Are you okay?" I said, keeping myself from laughing.
"D-Did I heard it right? S-Say it again. Please?"
"Nope." I shook my head, popping the letter "p".
"Noona." He cupped my face, leaning his forehead on mine.
"You know why I didn't answer you yesterday? You didn't even have a ring with you." I scoffed. "Who would propose without a ring? I can't believe you, Jeon Jungkook."
It's his turn to laugh at me. "What?!"
"What do you think of me, noona? Of course I have a ring."
My eyes widened in surprise. "I-I thought you---hmmm." He cut me off my sealing his lips on mine.
"Hmm---aw! Noona~" He pulled out from the kiss when I bit his lower lip.
"Let's say you have a ring, but you didn't even get on your knee---hmmm."
I can feel his grin while kissing me. I pinched his arm and he pulled away.
"Stop cutting me off!"
I rolled my eyes when he started laughing. There you go. The laugh and smile that I wanted to see since this morning.
"You didn't answer me because of that?" I nodded. "Aigoo~ I forgot, you're pregnant and emotional. I should've known." He showed me his bunny smile.
"What are you trying to imply?!"
He laughed again and held my hands tightly. "Come here."
I followed him to our bedroom. "Are we going to sleep? But I'm hungry~"
