You slurp down the stew in delight as your father and Chau stare slightly in bewilderment.

"Oh- I'm sorry! It's just... Very delicious. Thank you for the meal!" You say before slurping some more.

They laugh slightly before beginning their dinner.

"You helped prepare this dish so no need to thank us."

Your father nods his head in agreement.

You quickly scarf down the rest of the stew, along with some side dishes before excusing yourself for bed.

"I'll see you tomorrow!" You hear a feminine voice shout before walking upstairs to your room.

You leap on your bed, feeling all giddy after today's events.

After staring at your bedroom walls for a few minutes, you gather your night clothes and head to the bathroom for your night shower.

While walking out the bathroom, you look at the clock before noticing the light entering from behind the dark curtains.

You frown, realising it only is 7:56.

You were exhausted; you wanted to sleep but you knew there was no way that was happening while it was still light outside.

As expected, a knock interrupts your train of thought. You ignore the knocks while getting lost in your own tiny thoughts. The knocking gets louder and louder each passing minute. You realise tuning out the noise would not work.

"It's open." You say softly before heading over to your desk.

The unidentified guest comes in before clearing their throat.

You spin your chair, facing them slightly.

"Oh. Hello, Izaya."

The blonde haired Butler straightens his posture.

"Your Father has requested you go to sleep early. Perhaps it may be a bedtime schedule..? He says you have something big coming up next week."

"I see." You say before checking the clock again.

Your eyes go a little wide in disbelief. Time had flown by fast. It was now 8:28.

"Thank you for the news. Goodnight."

As you gather yourself under the heavy-warm blankets, you hear the door click, signaling that it had been closed.
