Getting along

You read your conversation with mr. Karasuno again and again, completely confused by his last text. "Who did he apologize to? Why is he making it seem like I was the one who messed up?" You thought, letting out a long sigh afterwards. You noticed that after mr. Karasuno sent his last message, he went offline. You checked again a few minutes later and came to a conclusion, "He might be busy."

At the time, you were probably too tired to pick up his hints or you were just plain dense. Either way, both of you decided to drop the conversation for the night.

The walk to your school was very peaceful. You decided to head to school by foot seeing that these days, you're waking up very early. Early enough for you to prepare everything before your alarm clock even rang. With your earphones in your ears playing your favorite playlist; you trudged to school feeling the early morning breeze blow through you hair.

This walk would've been nice if it weren't for you crossing paths with your pain on the ass of a bestfriend. As you were nearing another street, you swore you heard Reyna's voice right ahead and decided to pull out your right earphone, checking if you heard wrong. You looked up and saw the enthusiastic blonde meters away, chatting with two other people. You didn't bother on double-checking who your bestfriend was with, all you wanted was to avoid interacting with anyone. "If I take a turn near this corner, I might escape." You thought as you fastened your pace.

Yet as if the Gods were against you, Reyna happened to spot you and immediately called out your name. "Y/n! Hey come join us! I know you're going to school as well so come here!"
You rolled you eyes but decided to give in to her request. You didn't want to ruin her morning by turning her down so you managed to force a smile and approaches her and her friends hesitantly.

As you neared the three of them, you recognized the other two faces all too well. "So I happened to run into these two and I asked if I could join them. Thank goodness they said okay or else I would've felt awkward." Your bestfriend chirped, causing you to change your focus onto her. "Oh as if we'd turn you down Reyna! It's nice to have another person to walk with for once." Hinata said.

All you did was nod before deciding to walk side-by-side with Reyna. She seemed to be in a deep conversation with the hyper orange on her right so you kept silent for a while. You noticed that Kageyama looked indifferent throughout the whole time. You took a glance at him for a few times before thinking, "He probably had a bad morning."

The four of you were enjoying each other's company. However before realizing it, you were already walking beside the raven haired male who was quiet the entire time. Reyna and Hinata gave you a smug look and did the exact same thing for Kageyama. Both of you soon understood what they had done and turned bright red. "Reyna, what the fuck were you thinking!" You said, stomping back to her side following with a pinch on her left ear.

"A-ah ow- shit!" She said as you pinched her even more. "That's what you get!" You scolded. The second you finally let go of her ear, the both of you heard a small yelp coming from behind you. "A-ah! Kageyama I said I'm so- AAAA!!" The human tangerine yelled in pain. Kageyama seemed like he wasn't having any of it before smacking him again, "Boke! YOU'LL GET A PUNISHMENT DURING TRAINING FOR THIS!"

As the four of you finally calmed down, you found yourselves already at the gate of the school. Reyna turned to the two boys before saying, "Thanks for accompanying us again! Damn, I haven't had that much fun in a while. Would you mind if we'll join you again tomorrow?" You widened your eyes shortly after hearing her request. "What do you mean by 'we'? I didn't-"
