Kageyama yawned as he got up from his seat, ready to keep his stuff and head out of the classroom. The school day had finally ended and he was ready to go home. Training was cancelled yet again so he planned on going home early. However his friend on the other hand, had something else in mind.

"Oy bakageyama! I managed to convince Y/n to tutor us again! Meet me in the classroom now!" Hinata said, popping his head on the doorway before running back to his classroom. The setter stood there frozen in place with an indifferent expression. "How did he manage to convince her and why did he tell me just now?!"

Little did he know, the girl with h/c hair watched as his expression turned. "Wow am I really that bad in your eyes?" Was what he heard near the second doorway right behind him. In surprise, kageyama was only able to answer with an "Oh uhm... Uhhhh". Y/n read the awkward atmosphere and decided to just give him a slight sigh before walking back to her classroom.

The boy left in the room was in awe. He felt like he was wronged, and yet he couldn't pin point what could have made him felt that way. He decided to just shrug it off and head to where Hinata told him to go.

The study session was really awkward. Both Y/n and Kageyama didn't look nor spoke at each other the whole time. Hinata, being in the middle of it all, felt as if he could suffocate with this thick tension. The orange haired male decided to speak up. "Did you two fight or something?" Y/n looked at him with a sharp gaze before answering, "No, we didn't." Hinata's face showed full doubt upon hearing her answer, causing her to add, "Stop giving me that look. We didn't fight now go back to reading your papers."

Hinata decided to drop the topic and continued to read Y/n's notes. However kageyama, who had been silent the whole time, couldn't really focus. He kept on spacing out, thinking, "Is she angry at me?"

Not long after, Y/n got bored and decided to take out her phone. She checked her messages shared with Reyna last night and smiled wile back-reading through their texts. After scrolling through their messages, she decided to check up on Mr. Karasuno guy.

Kageyama's cellphone didn't take long giving out a notification. He groaned in annoyance, thinking it was maybe his classmates bugging him with homework. Y/n gave him a small nod, allowing him to check.

Surprisingly, Kageyama wasn't annoyed the moment he saw the user's I.D.

He felt a bit happy.

Y/n went back to checking on her cellphone before getting a notification from Mr. Karasuno. She quickly exited the app she was previously on and checked her inbox.
