Author's note:
Okay, I know like author's notes are supposeddd to be written at the bottom but hear me out dnsjgnI noticed that the story is a bit too.....eh :// ..... it felt like I lacked something so that's why these past few days I've been reading a buNch of stories and noticed that compared to theirs, my story lacks sooOooOo much description.
I'll *tryyyy* to be more ✨flavorful✨
But I can't make any promises 😔🤙.I noticed that they didn't use honorifics as well, my bad 😔💔. haha yeah I should have done more research before writing a book that takes place in a foreign setting.
Also, I learned that these boys were born somewhere in the 90's so.... 😳 Yeah- fanfics are meant for y'all's imaginations anyways 🗿🗿🗿
Now let me uh say smth

Shortly after your tour around the hospital, you and your bestfriend decided to head back inside your mother's ward. The both of you had noticed the fact that you two had been roaming around the hospital's hallways for more than an hour already. As you hastily twist on the hospital door's doorknob, the door slowly creaked open. You and your bestfriend made sure your steps weren't loud enough to wake up anyone who was sleeping in. The room was still as quiet as ever, judging from how your mother being unconscious and your younger sister in deep sleep as she rested on the couch.
You observed the room as Reyna approached the second couch to retrieve your backpack. The room was very spacious yet it felt very cozy to rest in. The ward's condition was so good that you thought this room welcomed exceptional guests only.
As expected of dad. He always chooses what's best for mom.
Speaking of your father, you noticed that the tension that was once inside the room had suddenly been lifted. The same tension that had made you and your blonde bestfriend almost choke from how suffocating the atmosphere felt. You look around the room once more to check if your father was either still inside or he had already left.
Nearing you with your backpack on her right shoulder, Reyna chose to speak up, "Oh, your dad must have left already." You turn your attention to her and noticed she looked very relieved. Realizing that the sole person who called you over has already left, you decided it was time for you to finally leave as well. "I guess so, let's go?"
She eyes you down, probably checking on how you're feeling. She might have been wanting to know before exiting the room. Knowing your bestfriend and how she worries about you a lot, you gave her a reassuring smile before patting her head. "Look, I said I'm alright. I just hope I didn't really trouble you." She lets out a long and exhausted-sounding sigh followed by a nod. "Whatever you say, Y/n-chan. But why do you always think that you're such a burden? Bestfriends always help each other even in situations like these. Don't be scared to reach out to others especially to your friends."
You were touched. Normally, you would always prefer to stay quiet or struggle alone whenever problems like these appeared and you were never used to having another individual help you out. Let's say it was a small habit you brought with you ever since you escaped from that "witch's" home. After all, old habits do die hard.
"Alright Reyna-chan. I'll try to get used to this."

It was finally Monday again. Not that you were excited to go through another day of school, but you were excited to meet the three people who have been lifting your spirits up recently. The time you awoke was early enough for you to get ready and meet up with the others. Heading out of the empty and quiet house shortly after you finished changing, you turn on your cellphone to check the time.
