The sun had yet to come up after Monica fell asleep. They spent the night exploring each other's bodies like it was the first time. Angel didn't understand what it was about the blonde woman that drove him crazy,maybe it was just everything about her. The way her soft hands explored the ridges of his muscles,the way her nails would claw down his back when he drowned her body in pleasure. Each time he was with her he learned something new. He was nervous about today,his rough hands ran through her soft hair while she slept,and he felt shitty for not being there when she woke up but Coco had texted him that they needed to take Creeper to the docks. He dressed silently, kissing her forehead softly. He had to figure out a way to make things right with Adelita in Monica's favor.
They were leaving Creep with the doctor when Gilly received a message and met Angels eyes. He nodded in acknowledgment and they all made their way out of the office and headed to the bar where they met Adelita.
"Stay close, boy scout."Angel patted Ez's shoulder and made his way inside the bar with Gilly and Coco behind him.
Monica's eyes opened slowly, her hand reaching out for Angel. She sat up when she couldn't find him. Her eyes landed on a note with Angels messy handwriting.

I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up. Some club shit came up and I had to run. I'll see you today and I promise you we'll make this right. I hate leaving you like this, you look so beautiful sleeping. I'll see you later.

Monica sighed and decided to get up and get ready for the day. She knew she needed to look the part for today, since she had been part of this world for so long and knew that this world was dominated by the men. Opting for a fitted black pencil skirt that reached her knees and the matching blazer over a lace bodysuit, she fixed her hair in a simple ponytail. Her gold cross earrings dangled when she swiped on some bright red lipstick, her tall black heels the last thing she put on.
