8. I Can't Believe You.

Last Chapter:  I couldn't believe what just happened. I noticed Chloe looking at me, I glared back at her and went back inside. I had some serious planning to do. She wasn't going to take Violet away from me.

Narrator pov.

Have you ever lost someone important to you before? Or perhaps knew someone who has?.. If so, you will be able to feel what the eldest Neff sister is feeling. Violet is about to lose someone important to her- I know who you're thinking about.. Let's just say it'll be a sad day for Violet Neff....

Narrator pov.

It was a bright and sunny day in Chicago- Sigh.. Who am I kidding it was a cloudy, gloomy like day. Violet and Chloe were hanging out. They've been friends for a year now. Everything has been great so far.. or so it seemed that way. Damien has been losing his sanity faster than.. than.. hmm.. I actually can't say.. He just can't seem to focus on anything else, rather than killing Chloe. She was constantly around Violet, giving her gifts, taking her out to nice places, etc. Damien has..done..  well.. not as much. He knew he didn't have a chance with Chloe around. Damien knew the only way to get what he wanted was to kill her.

Chloe pov.    

It's been a year now, since Violet and I have became friends. I'm so glad I met her. She's been the nicest person I've ever met. Everyone else has always treated me like differently.. In fact all the Thorn's have treated me nicer than my own family. Except for Damien. I don't know why, but every time I'm around him he makes me feel uneasy. It's like he wants to kill me or something. Ha.. that's uh.. crazy.. R-right?..

Anyway back to Violet. I've been thinking about this for a long time. I've been thinking about asking Violet out. I know it sounds crazy, but I think I'm in love with her... I just hope she feels the same... I'm planning to ask her this Friday, at the park, around 5 pm. I put a lot of effort into this so I just hope everything goes smoothly..

"Hey Violet.. I uhm.. have something to ask you.." I asked shyly, while fiddling with my hands. She takes my hands into hers, I began looking into her beautiful green eyes. "Yes?", she asked, her voice is like music to my ears. "On Friday.. I'd like to meet with you at the park.. at maybe.. 5 pm?" She looked a bit taken back at my question. I began blushing a deep red, knowing this was stupid and that she didn't like me. "Nevermi-" "Sure." My eyes widened. I couldn't believe it. She actually said yes! 

Damien pov.

I watched Chloe and Violet from afar, so I couldn't really hear what they were saying. I was going to lose Violet to this girl, and there's nothing I'll be able to do. I clenched my fists, I knew I couldn't let her get away with this. I had to come up with a plan. Violet will be mine. She has no other choice.

~Timeskip to Friday~

Narrator pov.

Damien did in fact kill a person that was close to Violet, but it wasn't Chloe. I'm not going to spoil it, I'll let you read it for yourself.. You might already know who it is.. annnnd you may not. Whether you know or not, it doesn't matter, because in the end someone who is innocent gets their life taken away, by another's greedy and selfish actions. I advise you to look away, stop reading this book immediately.. But.. if you wish to carry on.. I guess I cannot stop you.. I'll let these unfortunate events unravel before you..

Allie pov.

I was with Mark, helping him with his homework. I knew this was his way of wanting to hang out with me. I knew he liked me, I mean it was very obvious; but I wasn't sure if I felt that way or not.. My feelings were very conflicted. None the less, Mark was still my friend and I enjoyed hanging out with him. I just felt different around guys; I honestly preferred girls more. Especially after seeing Violet with Chloe; it made me realize that I'd rather date a girl than guy..

It was about and hour later Mark and I decided to get something to eat from the cafeteria. I decided to race him there. I liked to make everything with him a competition, it made me feel good. Plus, I always ended up winning, I liked the look on his face when I won. "Race you there in.. three...two..one! GO!" I yelled. I began jogging, since we were inside. I decided to let him win this time, I started to slow down. Mark had jogged passed me, smiling that dorky smile of his. As I was jogging I had noticed Damien in a room by himself. He was pacing around frantically, just muttering stuff to himself. I peaked in, Damien had shot his head up at me. I quickly turned away, hoping he didn't see me, but just as I feared, he did. Damien pulled me inside.

I looked at his stone cold expression, his green eyes pierced into my soul. "What the hell, man?" I asked, raising my voice a bit,  "Where's Violet?" He asked his cold looking gaze never leaving mine. "She's with Chloe.. in the woods.." I lied. Honestly, with the way he's acting I sure as hell didn't want him around Violet. Damien quickly grabbed my wrist, dragging me outside with him.

As we arrived, Damien searched around for the both of them. After he realized I lied to him, he looked back at me, with a very scary expression. I backed away slowly. I had to get away from him. He was crazy! I thought we were all friends.. It turns out, we're not. I glared back at him, still backing away slowly. "You lied to me!" He shouted, "Yea! You're acting like a psycho! I don't want you around my sister!" Those words really made him mad. Damien began walking closer to me, suddenly my back hit a tree. "Ha! Looks like you're cornered now. Here's the deal, I'll let you go and we'll forget about this situation, if you tell me where Violet and Chloe really are." I shook my head, "Never, fucker! You won't get your hands on my sister!" I kneed Damien in the balls and ran as fast as I could. I had to get to Violet and warn her, I wasn't gonna let this psychopath get to her. 

Damien pov.

I fell down to the ground after Allie kneed me in my.. you know.. I didn't wanna have to do this, but she left me with no choice. Lying to me, kneeing me in my unmentionable place... I had to kill her too. I didn't want to. I knew it would hurt Violet even more, but I can't let her get away.. I got up and ran in the direction where Allie went. She wasn't going to ruin this for me.

As soon as I approached Allie, I saw Mark, Violet, and Chloe all around her. I had no choice but to kill her around them. I'm so sorry, Violet.. 

Narrator pov.

Well... you can imagine what happened next, and if u can't I'll just sum it up. Damien approached Allie, giving her his deathly stare, causing her to have an aneurysm. Everyone watched in shock as Allie fell to the ground. Mark ran towards her lifeless body and held her in his arms. "N-no.. Allie I didn't even.. tell you my feelings..." Mark glared at Damien, Violet sat down beside Mark. She looked at her sister's body, tears streaming down her face. Damien had walked towards her, "Stop, Thorn. Don't come near me. Don't speak to me, or look at me, or just interact with me in general. I can't believe you killed my sister.. I don't want anything to do with you.." She turned around, "Goodbye.." Chloe held Violet in her chest, kissing her forehead as they walked back inside. Damien looked at Mark for comfort, Mark just glared at him. Damien fell to his knees. 

He knew he fucked up, but it wasn't going to stop him. Violet was going to be his, even if he had to kill the entire world...
