11. Deal?

Last Chapter: I needed to know what was going on and I needed to know now. "I know you're confused. Let's go somewhere more.. private to talk. There's a lot you need to know..." Chloe grabbed my hand and led me outside, towards the tree she confessed to me. Shit was about to go down. I just have to be ready for it. . . . .

Ann Thorn Flashback / Narrator pov.

 Ann sighed as she looked out her window towards the Neff mansion. "Why do they have to be richer than us. I just don't get it. They don't even own a company like we do." She thought. "There has to be some way to get rid of them but without bloodshed. Just how though?" Ann's mind was full of questions. She thought about it some more before remembering she had recently read a book about summoning demons. It's a weird thing to read about, but she had nothing else to do with her time.

 "Let's see." Ann said as she skimmed through all of her books on her shelf. Richard was at work, while Damien and Mark were at the military academy. So Ann had the whole house to herself. It was usually like this though, she didn't mind being alone. "Ah ha!" Ann said grabbing the book labeled, "All about Demons." 

 Ann quickly looked through all of the pages, till she found one that suited her interest. One in particular caught her eye. It was a yellow triangle, with one eye in the middle. It almost resembled the illuminati. "This one will do." Ann gathered everything she needed, setting it all up in the living room. Ann closed all of the curtains and lit the candles one by one. 

 Ann began chanting the words from the book, while closing her eyes tightly. Suddenly her body felt light and time stopped. Ann opened her eyes and looked around the room. It was all colorless and time had stopped completely. "Uh hello?" Ann said looking at the demon in front of her. "Well hello, Ann Thorn. Honestly didn't expect someone like you to summon me." The demon spoke, Ann was taken back. "How the hell did you know my name?" Ann asked and the demon laughed. "I know lots of things. Lots of things." He said.

 "Okay, whatever. Look, I need you to do something for me."  "Oh. What would that be? Oh - wait I already know. You want me to do something to the Neff's. So they will fall and no longer be wealthy." Ann's eyes widened, "Wow you really do know a lot."  "I told you. Now, if I do this for you. There's something I'd like in return. We'll work out the details later." The demon held out his hand, a blue flame emerged from it. Ann was hesitant at first but then shook his hand. "Deal."

??? pov.

 Wow. I can't believe how dumb humans are. This woman really made a deal with me to destroy a family because she's jealous. "Alright. Here's my plan. I will burn down their entire mansion, destroying everything they have. Possibly them too, if they don't make it out. Not that I care. Humans are not my personal interest." Ann looked at me, then at the ground. I guess she's processing the plan. "Alright. That sounds great."  "When I finish I will be back and we can talk about your side of the deal." Ann nodded as I teleported out her home.

 I remembered that I couldn't be in my regular demon form. So I transformed into my human one. I didn't personally care for it but it definitely came in handy. With the snap of my fingers I appeared to the Neff mansion. I noticed two girls walking out of the house. Allie and Violet Neff. I looked at both of them, but mostly at Violet. I always thought she was beautiful, seeing her in person just made her even more beautiful. "Hello." Violet said as they walked by. I tipped my hat at her, receiving a smile from her. I had to admit. I don't like humans but something about her just really stuck to me.

 I giggled manically to myself before snapping my fingers, causing the entire Neff mansion to burn up in flames. "Don't worry, Violet. You will be in my possession soon."

Narrator pov.

 I think you get the point. From that day forward Allie and Violet's terrible fate began, and it only got worse. The demon's deal with Ann was basically taking custody of Allie and Violet. So the demon could keep his eye very close on Violet. Only, little did anyone know it would lead to a series of unfortunate events for Violet Neff. 

I really did try to warn you. . . . .
