Gabby's POV

School was tough. I'm glad that it's over. I waited for a few minutes until  I saw mom driving through the driveway.

I waved goodbye to Eliza and Leah and hoped into the car.

"So how was school princess?" mom asked.

"Ugh mom please don't call me that!!" I answered with an annoyed tone.

"Okay okay. How was school chef?"

"Much better. Well school was ok. Met this newbie Eliza and this girl who had been here for 6 solid years, Leah."

"Great! You made friends."

"Yup yup" I said with a smile.

We drove home and continued with our unpacking. We had been unpacking for 3 days by now but still the stuffs are never ending.

My room was clean and all organised already. I like this room 100 times more than the one in New York.

This room is dominated by black and white. A minimalist type. The walls are clean white with some black patterns on some places. My furniture are all black or white including my bed. One corner was a bookshelf filled with school books and recipe books. I like cooking and baking. My room is cozy and clean.

This room really symbolizes me, simple, comfy, not complicated.

After 3 hours, finally we finished unpacking and cleaning. I took a shower and decided to head to the park for a walk. Since it is the first day of school, we didn't have any homework. I'm free for the day...

Eliza's POV

"Gabby!!!!" I called and waved.

"Hey what's up?"

"Just walking and chillin'"

"Me too..."

I think I was frozen inside.

"Um Liz..." I heard Gabby say.

"Ow yeah..." I snapped out.

Gabby looked around...

"You have a crush on Tom?" She whisper-shouted.

"Um... " that is all I could say.

"Liz. Don't you worry... I'll be there for you." She said smiling.

"Gee.. thanks.."

Gabby went to a bench to sit. As I was about to follow her, I was bumped to the ground and I fell down.

"Ouch!!! Could you watch whe-" I looked up and saw some beautiful blonde hair.

It's Tom.

"I'm truly sorry. I guessed I was so into my phone that I wasn't watching where I was going." He said lending a hand to help me up.

Gabby has dissappeared.

"Being there for me. Wow!!" I murmured.

I think Tom heard it.

"Who?" He asked.

"Oh no, my friend, new friend actually, Gabby. She um... POOF...!! Disappeared like a genie." I fake giggled trying to stay cool.

"Well, my house is over there. C'mon we'll bandage that wound of yours." He said.

"Um ok."

Tom noticed that I had a hard time walking so he picked me up bridesmaid style and carried me to his house.

"Have a cup of tea my lady." He said.

"Gee.. that's not necessary"

"No. It is mandatory" he argued

He grabbed a first aid kit and started to bandage my wound.

"Do you have any plans tonight?" He suddenly ask.

"Um no." I said

"Why don't you invite your NFB here and I'll invite James? We'll have a movie night."

"NBF?"

"New best friend ehehehe" he said.

His laugh is cute.
