Movie Night

Eliza's POV

"She'll be here in 10." I said.

"Ok. James will be here soon. He has some last minute vocal class." Tom said.

We waited for a while and Gabby arrived.

"Hi guys... I went to Walmart and got some ingredients for some delicious snacks." Gabby said.

"When you said she is so into food, you weren't kidding." Tom giggled as he looked at Eliza.

"Oh Tom, she was talking about food the whole P.E" I said.

"Can I use your kitchen, Tom?" Gabby asked.

"Sure, but make some good stuffs."

"I will."

Minutes after that, James arrived.

Gabby's POV

"Tom ma man." He said giving Tom a man hug.

I was strucked by his beautiful figure. Some flawless brown hair, deep hazel eyes. No wonder he is so popular.

Eliza texted me. I don't get why because she is 3 feet away from me.

I knew thay it was 'girl talk' so I excused myself to the bathroom to read it.

Gabs!!! Do you realise??!! We are hamgimg out with two most popular guys at school!! Aaaaaaaa!!!!!

I replied her.

To:Eliza
From:Gabby
Yes. I realise that. You want Tom, right? Ok. I'll take James :D

I went to the dining room and served the nachos on the coffee table.

Eliza's phone beeped and she checked it.

"Ugh....ok mom." She said in a fake annoyed tone.

She looked up and winked at me. Nobody saw her and I knew what she meant.

She was faking the 'mom text' so the guys won't be suspicious. Smart girl.

James took a bite of my homemade nachos.

"You do know how to cook food, Gab.." he said "these are delicious."

I couldn't help but smile.

"Thanks James. I always wanted to be a chef someday."

Tom started the movie and we sat on the carpet in front of the table.

James was still helping himself with my nachos. I am so pleased that he loved it.

I gotta admit. The movie was super boring. I looked at my so-called friends and I knew that all of them are bored too...

I fell asleep afterwards.

James' POV

Ok, the movie was so boring. I was half asleep. I suddenly awoke when I felt Gabby resting her head on my shoulders.

I looked around. Eliza has got her head on Tom's shoulders too.

Everyone was asleep, so I grabbed the remote and turned the TV off.

Somehow, I enjoyed Gabby on my shoulders.

I never met someone like her. Laid-back, fun, cute. The best part is that she is herself.

I gotta admit that most girls pretend to like acting and dance just to impress me.

Gabby, well, it is obvious that she is being herself.

I would love to have her but will she like me? And how would the other girls react if they knew about me and her? Would they treat her the same? Ugh... whatever.... I'm just gonna enjoy this moment having Gabby beside me.
