James' POV
I walked to school and head to my first class, music. I love this class. I always wanted to be a singer.
Oh... here comes Tom. He pulled a chair and sat next to me.
"Morning James" he said "have you called Gabby?"
"She won't answer. How about Eliza?" I said.
"No luck."
"They'll arrive here soon..."
Gabby, with Eliza and Leah arrived at music class. They sat at the back.
I was about to talk to Gabby when Mr. Parker started.
"Morning class. Today, I'm giving you a partner project." He announced.
'Please be Gabby not Jen'. I kept repeating that inside my head.
"The partners." Mr. Parker went through his list until I heard my name.
"Mr. Maslow, you are going with Ms. Lawry."
Ms Lawry? That's Gabby. YES!!!
Tom was with Eliza..
He explained us the project and dismissed the class.
Gabby's POV
School went by pretty fast. I was one group with James for the music project. O well... on the bright side, he IS the best in class for music.
"Gabby!" James called "let's work on the project. Tonight at your house?"
"Um... okay" I said shyly
In Gabby's house,
"Okay... so we're supposed to present the different genres in music....." he said.
"Um James?" I said.
"Yeah?"
"Listen, I know you are very good at music and well um... I'm not, I think you should just do it yourself and don't put my name on."
I was mad but I don't want to fight with him.
"No I won't do that." James said calmly.
"I failed each music test since level 1" I explained "how do you think I'm going to pass this?"
"I don't care. It is a group project. " James said, so we did the project. He taught me a lot of things.
While we were cleaning the mess, James noticed my bookcase.
"You are really into food, aren't you?" He said sweetly.
I just smiled a little.
"Gabby, I've been trying to call you yesterday. I know you are mad but..."
"Why are you hanging out with me if you already have a girlfriend?" I said raising my voice
"Who said she is my girlfriend?"
"Everyone at school.."
"I hate her. She is mean, selfish, bossy arrogant."
"Ow.. um..."
Suddenly James came closer to me and hugged me. Just the good friend hug.
I coudn't help but smile.
Tom's POV
Yes!!! I got Eliza, take that Bella!!
We met at my house.
She was still mad at me. I could see it in her face.
"C'mon," I said "let's get on with the project"
"Ugh... I wish I wasn't your partner..."
"I'm sorry about yesterday."
"Whatever. The faster this thing is done, the faster I leave."
"Ok ok. But you should know, Bella, she isn't my girlfriend." I said "just some abnoxious, annoying girl"
"You don't like her?"
"Not a single part of her. But I belong to somebody else... sorry..."
"Ow... um... who?"
"A girl named Eliza"
I kissed her on her cheek. She is such a sweet girl.
I wanted to tell her something... but I'm afraid she would be mad. Ugh....
James' POV
I was confused so I excused myself to the bathroom and texted Tom
To: Tom
From: James
Dude!!! Should we tell them now? If we do, would they be bumped? Need help!!!
Tom's POV
Eliza left my house after dinner and I got a text from James.
Man, I don't know what to do....
To: James
From:Tom
I don't know what to do, I'm lost. But sooner or later the whole school is going to know 'the big announcement'.
