Day At The Park

Tom's POV

I woke up at about 6:30 a.m. Last thing I remember was watching a dreadful movie. I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Eliza on my shoulders. I noticed that she was still sound asleep. So was James and Gabby.

I didn't want to wake them up so I just took a pillow and placed Eliza's head on it and let her sleep.

I decided to make 4 cups of tea for my friends. While I was making the tea, I was lost in my thoughts. I was thinking about this amazing girl named Eliza.

"Tom, Tom, Tom!!!" James said.

"What the... oh.. you guys are awake.." I said.

"Yup." Gabby said.

"Morning Elizabeth." I said greeting the girl I was thinking about.

"Please don't call me that" she said "my parents call me Elizabeth when they were mad at me" she giggled

I was too into her that I forgot that James and Gabby are in the room.

"Here you go my Lady." I said handing her the cup of tea.

She smiled and thanked me.

"Dude!!" James said and punched me playfully "Gabby and I are here too, also, no tea for us?"

I realised that I only made two cups of tea, one for me and one for Eliza.

"Ow.. um... sorry..." I said.

Gabby's POV

I noticed that Tom has fall for Eliza too. I wonder if James likes me like how Tom likes Eliza.

"C'mon" I punched James toned arms playfully "I'll make waffles for you"

"Ok" James winked at me.

He looks so cute when he does that.

I prepared the ingredients and noticed Eliza and Tom talking to each other at the teras. Giggling and having a great time together.

"Gab, do you need help?" James asked from nowhere.

"Oh... it's fine." I said.

"Why don't we get to know each other better?" He asked.

"Sure" I said "what do you want to know?"

Eliza's POV

Tom is such a cool guy... Cute, funny, sweet, gentle.

"Why don't we hang at the park today?" He asked "we could invite James and Gabby"

"Sure... " I agreed.

We told James and Gabby and they happily agreed.

Gabby prepared the foods while the rest of us packed and prepared the picnic blanket.

"What a beautiful day!!" I said.

"Not as beautiful as you are" Tom complimented

I couldn't help but smile.

James' POV

I'm having the time of my life with Gabby around me.

Suddenly out of nowhere, Jen appeared.

"There you are!!!" She immediately pecked my lips.

I could see hurt in Gabby's eyes.

"Um Jen, what are you doing here? You don't like the park." I said.

"You had a picnic and you didn't invite me?" Jen exclaimed.

I hate this girl. Bossy, arrogant, selfish.

She knows that I don't like her but she just won't let me go...

I was so pissed.

Tom's POV

I saw Jen. Ugh.. here comes trouble...

I knew that sooner or later her bossy friend, Bella would come.

I was right.

"Tommy, honey, I tried calling you yesterday and you didn't reply. Are you okay? Did this beast beside you hurt you?" She asked looking at Eliza in disgust.

I felt horrible for her.

I tried to stop her from talking but she continuosly babble in front of my ears.

Man, I hate it.

Eliza's POV

"Um.. I'm gonna get some ice cream. You wanna come Gabby?" I said

"Sure" she said in a sad tone.

"Any requests guys?" I asked

"Yeah. My request: get out of my face." Bella said.

I felt like punching her on the face, but knowing Tom was there, I controlled myself.

"Shh.. Bell-" Tom said.

Unfortunately she continues to babble.

O yeah. Gabby knows about my self defence ability already.

We went to a corner of the park.

"Ugh!!! I'm so mad..!!! How could Tom like her???" I said angrily.

"You think I'm not?" Gabby  said " I thought James liked me."

"Let's get outta here!"

"Agreed..."
