A Terrible, Terrible Sound

Apparently, while Luigi was asleep, Oleander took him back to his... lab for another run on experiments. The only reason he found out was because he awoke to being force-fed what he guessed was some kind of painkiller, and, of course, horrific pain. He latched onto the doctor like a leech the second he could feel the pain, clenching his jaw shut. Once he noticed, however, Luigi let go. Oleander chuckled, and he could have sworn he heard a little "aww" from the masked man. He blinked, not knowing what that was about, but he decided to keep his mouth shut.
He looked himself over, to find differences. Perhaps he'd be less afraid if he purposefully looked for them. His arm seemed finished, though now it looked like an anthropomorphic dog's paw, not an actual hand. He moved all five of the fingers on that hand, not sure how to feel about it. He glanced at his feet, and flinched immediately. Large, furry paws were where his feet used to be.
"Now, I was going to just edit them to look like that, but I decided against it... doing that takes less time."
Luigi's gut felt like it was doing all sorts of ungodly motions. Did he just say he cut them off and replaced them with these?!
Luigi blinked, and decided he ought to ask the question,
"... Why do you feel the need to do this?" He asked, gesturing at his altered arm. Oleander's mask took on a calmer expression.
"Now, I won't tell exactly what I wish to make of you, I will tell this much about it, I feel that things will be much scarier for anyone opposing either of us if something dangerous looked soft, and approachable."
Luigi couldn't tell if he was confused or afraid. Now he really wanted to know what all these experiments were about, and what the doctor wanted to do with him. He didn't ask that, however. He probably wouldn't tell him.
Oleander took him by the arm again, and Luigi assumed that they'd be returning to his room.
They were not, however. He was lead into a dimly  lit room, a lightbulb hanging from the ceiling, bathing the center of the desk in an eerie yellow light, and the surrounding area was an increasingly darker shade. Two chairs were at opposite ends of a table, and at one end, there was a clipboard, a pen and a tape. Oleander gestured for him to sit at the empty end of the desk, and so, Luigi took his seat, folding his hands on the table out of habit.
Oleander took the clipboard and pen, using one end to press a button, causing the tape to play.
"Begin audio test #1"
A quiet sound filled the room. It reminded him of rolling thunder, but it sounded choppy, and the noise refused to change, like an infinite loop. He kept listening, and he heard something that shook him to his core. Beneath the choppy thunder, he could hear what he believed to be a woman weeping. What the hell was Oleander making him listen to?! He could tell Oleander could see how disturbed he felt, he didn't need to look at the doctor to know. His hands locked onto each other like vices, and he shook ever so lightly.
And suddenly, it stopped.
"Document results."
Oleander paused the recording and wrote on the papers attached to his clipboard. He tried shaking off that strange sound, but it was difficult. Before he could react,
"Begin audio test #2"
A jarringly louder sound emitted from the device. He began cowering at the noise alone. His hands unfolded almost immediately. It sounded like spinning fan blades, but the volume of it was amplified far beyond what should be neccessary. It sounded like it was playing twice over itself, but one of these times lagged behind. He heard Morse Code beneath it, but barely. The code was repeated over and over, but he didn't know what it said. He was tense, looking around the room frantically, as if he expected something to jump out at him.
He heard the voice from the tape suddenly interrupt the noise,
"Document results."
Oleander wrote down Luigi's reaction, as the tape instructed, and turned it off.
"That will be all for now, I'll take you back to your room and that'll be it for today."
