Back in earth,

Sara and Martha were on their way to the school.

"Martha,do you perhaps think that I  should have properly thanked him back then?"

Martha put out a suspicious face and looked Sara right in her eyes with a very weird smile.She seemed as if she already had something sketchy in her mind and then replied with the same face,"You wanna call dibs on your savior?Was he handsome?I want my brother-in-law to be super hot,okay?"

"Cut the crap,Martha! I just got a bad feeling.I was being way too harsh that day.After all, he was about to only save me.N o strings attached!He risked his life to save me from death.You know?Who else would jump into the river just to save me in that freezing cold night?"

"You met him at the riverside,right?So he must be living around here.We've a fat chance of bumping into him if I'm right.You can thank him properly next time.You still have the hanky,right?"

"Yes,I do have it.But I haven't seen him around here before.Must be new in our neighborhood. Maybe he just have moved here.I'll return it if we meet again."

"Alright.Let's hurry now!We don't want to be late again."And so the girls ran towards their school,holding hands.

By the time the two girls reached their class,everyone were seated on their own places.The class was about to begin.But the gossip girls of the class were restless.Like any other typical  class,Sara's class too had a three-member group of gossip girls who considered Kiara,the popular girl from the next class,as their leader.The four girls had been together since middle school but got separated when they got shuffled into different classes in the high school.This indeed broke the initial harmony in the group since the leader was isolated but failed to stop the three subordinates from working for their leader and creating rumor circles either for her or for their own interests.Needless to say,the three girls started their chirping while the other students prepared for the class.Sara never wanted to involve with them because mingling with them would mean sacrificing all her ethics under the influence of merely a group of totally absurd girls.But Martha was slightly different even though she kept a principled distance from those girls.This time too,just as usual,Martha couldn't control her innate sense of curiosity that she actually eavesdropped on those girls' chitchat to know what was going on.After all,every class has a group of news-bulletin students who are the first to know anything and everything that happens in their class as well as the entire school,not to mention.

Once Martha heard the news completely,she took it to the ears of Sara without wasting a second."Sara,I have a good news for you.Two new admission boys are coming to our class today.Maybe your savior  is one of them."

Martha left to her seat once she told Sara this.As for Sara,if what Martha said is right,then she'll get a chance to thank her savior properly.However,strange enough,Sara started to feel a bit nervous.She started looking around,biting her nails,expecting David to pop up out of nowhere any time.She waited for a while but no one came."Why should I be nervous?I thank him,give back his hanky and...and what?That's it.It's not like I'm DAMN sure that it's him.Perhaps,it's not even him...or not!But how should I thank him?Shouldn't I have a bit of shame?No way!That is so unlike me.Above all,he got a taste of my snobbish attitude the other day.Nothing is going to change anyway.I should just be myself.Oh no!I must be a sore loser!"

Sara was having a storm of thoughts in her brain when the teacher arrived at her usual time.The teacher started speaking something to the whole class while Sara was still thinking and thinking.However the top student of the class managed to cheat the teacher by putting out an attentive expression on her face even when she was actually lost in her own world.The world where the sole inhabitant is just her.But she had to wake up from her illusions soon for she saw that the teacher is accompanied by someone today who was waiting at the door.She was pretty sure that it'd be either one among the newbies.She feared that it'd be David and was perplexed as to how to confront him.Thinking back,what she said and did the other day seems to be so embarrassing for her  now.But what's done is already done.We can't just cry over the spilled milk.Sara knew that better than anyone else.So she decided to face him boldly and apologize to him properly if needed,no matter what.

The teacher called the new student in when Sara was still sitting there stuck with her face let down.The teacher said introducing him,"My kids,we have  a newbie here.He'll introduce himself to you guys."

Everyone in the class eagerly waited to hear from him except one.Sara's heart thumped faster than even the velocity of light.She didn't know exactly why she was feeling this awkward to meet him when she actually dealt with him boldly last time.Finally,before the newbie started speaking,Sara looked up with a sigh,to see if the newbie in her class was actually him or not!
