Lonely Part 5

This is the last part of Lonely and it is an epilogue. This takes places after Rise of Skywalker. Ben does not kiss Rey but he does die. The character became a spy for the resistance in hope she could save Ben and herself. Due to the link between her and Rey's head they became quite close.

The tears kept falling as I landed my ship at the edge of the base of the resistance.
He had died saving us all. He may have not be seen as a hero throughout the reign of the first order in fact he was considered the opposite but now nobody could argue against it he was back as Ben Solo that only I had seen over the past few years.
I step out the ship to be hugged by Rey she knew of what I had done to try and help them win the war.
"I am so sorry." She whispers to me
"It's ok it's not your fault." I tell her
We break apart from our hug and I hand her over my lightsaber.
"I want you to hold onto this for me until I am ready to use it once more." I inform her and she nods clearly understanding why I would not want to use it for a while
"What will you do now?" She asks and I look over at Poe laughing with his new friends.
"Pick up the pieces of my life before all this. Try to fix some broken friendships." I say

I am taken by surprise when she starts dragging me over to Poe and the other guy who I think is called Finn.
"Hi." I greet them sheepishly
"I forgive you." Poe says rather bluntly and for the first time in a while I smile a real smile.
"Thank you." I mutter gratefully

A hand grabs my shoulder and I turn around to see the ghost of Ben staring back at me.
"I am sorry I should have been there for you." I start rambling but he soon cuts me off
"It was not your fault. Just make sure you live your life to the fullest and when you die we will be together again." He says a small smile starting to form and just like that he is gone again
"Hey are you gonna come with us or just stare at that tree. I mean it's a pretty interesting tree but I would like to think I am more interesting." Poe jokes

Over the years you never forgot the loss you felt of both Ty and Ben. For a while your life was pretty lonely but you eventually gave into your friends. The history behind you and Poe was forgotten and you became even closer than you once were. You raised a little girl who was orphaned. She showed extreme connection to the force. By the end of your life you had kept to what Ben had said to you and had no regrets in your life except Ben and Ty not being by side.

"Nobody is a villain they are just heroes who made the wrong choices."
